There was very little to like. The check-in process was acceptable, although the receptionist was wearing AirPods and talking on the phone during check-in, which was confusing because I initially thought she was speaking to me.

Cons:

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hotel was extremely dirty. The carpet was covered with hair, the air conditioner had spider webs on it, and there were flies inside the room, which I have never experienced in any hotel before. The hallways and the room had a terrible smell, similar to a livestock barn. There was no air conditioning in the hallways or near the elevators, making the building unbearably hot. The room was also very hot when I checked in, and I had to run the air conditioner for a long time before it became comfortable. The breakfast was extremely disappointing, with almost no variety—mostly boiled eggs and cereal. It was definitely not worth paying extra for breakfast.

The quality of the hotel was great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I liked the quality and the cleanliness of the property. I enjoyed the convenience of the free breakfast and appreciated the helpfulness of the staff.

Cons:

One of the two rooms I booked had the A/C turned off so when we arrived, the room was hot. The staff was helpful and switched rooms but it was the same situation in the second room. We decided to leave for dinner and upon returning, the temperature of the room had improved. It was just inconvenient after traveling for 5 hours.

Pros:

Staff is always nice and helpful.
The bed! I can’t say enough about the comfort of the bed. Great breakfast selection and great quality! Always hot coffee and cold water available!

It was a place to stay
Pros:

We were there actually 4 days, 2 different rooms.
Both rooms were fairly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The A/C worked exceptionally well.

Cons:

The staff in the evening was never around.
A few minor repairs needed in each room.
The biggest problem was the towels. They didn't have enough to exchange out each day.
Another guest and I asked to get clean towels out of empty rooms as there were not enough clean ones in the laundry.

Pros:

Clean, nice environment and rooms. Waffle maker for breakfast is a plus.
It's in a good location, within a 20-25 min drive from a lot of Austin attractions and restaurants.

Cons:

Breakfast could be better. I understand it's not a very expensive hotel but perhaps the quality could be improved a bit. At least an improvement in the scrambled eggs and sausages will go a long way.

Also, every time i got hot water for my tea, it tasted more lukewarm than hot.

Location was good, cleaning ladies were very nice.

Cons:

We were in town for a baseball tournament, The halls had no a/c, if you were lucky the room may have ac. Our room had a broken tile by the closet, I found several dirty kids socks that were probably left behind from the previous guest. But for the price it was decent.
