Wild Rose Casino & Hotel Emmetsburg

Nice property to stay at. Luckys restaurant had a great vibe with its friendly staff, multiple TVs to watch sports and variety of seating.

Disappointed with lack of fridge & microwave. Very sad breakfast offerings as well. Didn't come to gamble but very surprised that casino opens on the late side (11 a.m.) compared to other places we've gone.

Staff very accommodating, room exceptional in cleaniness, did enjoy the food at the bar and grill

The prices of the hotel stay was very reasonable. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff very courteous. Unfortunately altho the bar & grill downstairs was closed. So were all the same upstairs. Casino closes at midnight. After spending the days at Clay County Fair it would have been nice to have those amenities open to relax in.

The place really could use filters in their air filtration system . SMOKE EVERYWHERE the machines need cleaned like the beds. basically speaking .the place is a S H I T HOLE. N O T. G O I N G. B A C K....

Hate the cigarette smoke and won’t be back due to that reason alone. Landscaping looks awful with all the weeds

We checked in and went to our room. The toilet wouldn't stop running. The gal at the front desk said that she could put us in a different room. I told her that wasn't necessary. Just send someone up to fix it. Oh, there's no one on staff to do that today. She gave us another room. It was a smoking room. It smelled like a dirty ashtray. We stayed anyway. I will say, the beds and pillows were comfortable.

Overall it was a good experience. Our big issue was there being no refrigerator or microwave in the room. Bar and grill in building had friendly staff and good food. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was a big fail.

Room was beautiful and comfortable... lobby reeked of smoke from the casino. I requested a room far away from casino after reading many posts regarding that, so we didn't have issue in our room

Hotel is fine but haven't been around smoking rooms in a long time and it is an option on the first floor. We stayed on second floor, so not as noticeable but still aware of lingering smoke. Rooms do not have microwaves or small fridges, which we have become accustomed to. No deal breakers, just need to be aware of

I had another good stay here. The prices are reasonable, and the rooms are a little bit dated, but they are clean.
Check in was easy and friendly. They have a continental breakfast, which is quite unusual for a casino hotels.
Good but typical. The casino is nice and they have lots of new machines and the odds are pretty good. The Clinton and Jefferson properties want double the hotel cost which is unreasonable given the rural nature of these places Emmetsburg is very reasonable. The restaurant is quite good and reasonably priced.

Rooms are dated. Need new bedding,pillows and mattress

Casino hotel. Smoking allowed in casino. Non smoking rooms still smelled of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was minimal. I dont recommend staying here.

The room was not a real nice room kind of run down and just not great

Check in staff seemed rude. Like us showing up took thwm away from qhat they were doing.
