The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful
There was considerable noise in the parking lot with kids on dirt bikes that the front desk handled. However, there were stains on the bedspread, we had dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom as well as a pair of paint covered pants that were left on the floor of the room that belonged to a previous guest
The staff was excellent!
The loud noises outside the room when trying to sleep. Understood that some guests where long term residents with kids, but to be playing outside at almost 10p with loud music around the cars.
Very nice room! The front desk clerk let me check in early which was great since I had been travelling for a while. Really close to Corning and all the shops on Market street. The chargers were super fast too! It only cost around 6$ to charge my car over night (full battery!)
There was some kind of noise in the hallway; it almost sounded like a child throwing a fit. Later in the night it sounded like someone was moving furniture around? I was close to some of the event rooms so it might've been because of that. But it was very manageable and a very nice hotel!
Nothing
The bed linen and towels were dirty. I think they should not be used anymore, they are no longer white and have stains. It was very uncomfortable to wipe yourself with them, it was very unpleasant.
The check-in staff was phenomenal!!! We were there for only a short time, but we would definitely stay again!
It was difficult once you got off the elevator that there were still a couple stairs to get to the room. It was okay for us but anyone who cannot do stairs at all needs to ask for the first floor.
The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. I liked the fact that there was no carpeting in the room; it made me feel that it was washed clean a few times. I hate rooms where you don't want to touch your feet to the floor.
I stayed on the second floor. I hated having to take the elevator, then walk down a half flight of stairs carrying my bag. the stairs were very steep. The hallways looked tired: carpeting was old and smelled. there was no breakfast.
Very reasonably priced. Clean
The outlets and lights did not work on one side of the bed
Friendly
Courteous, professional, helpful staff
The hotel was okay overall. It’s supposed to be a smoke-free property, but you can definitely smell cigarette smoke in the halls. If that doesn’t bother you, it might be fine, but since I’m pregnant, it was something I really didn’t like. The bathroom in our room wasn’t very clean either. I’d say it’s more of a one-night stay kind of place — I wouldn’t book it for more than that. On a positive note, the restaurant downstairs next to the lobby was actually really good.
My dogs are enjoying the place, an the kids enjoy my puppies, pool is closed for season..
Stayed here 2 nights, in town for a half marathon. Hotel is old and parking lot area in the back felt unsafe. That said, my room had everything I needed- large fridge, microwave, coffee. And I felt safe on 2nd floor. Staff were excellent. There’s a Mexican restaurant attached that looked good and a nice continent mart also right next door.
Spacious room | Staff were friendly
Front desk was super friendly
I love that my pet was welcomed to stay with us! The front desk staff were very friendly!
It seemed as if it was a home for some people. We thought that we were staying in the Red Roof Inn but we're in Hometown Suites. We had stained towels, so we went to the desk to get more, which they gave us, but 2/4 were stained.
