Sea Chest Motel

If the kids are happy, the trip works. And they loved everything about Sea Chest Motel. Pool time, quick walks to the beach with easy access made every day simple. As a parent, I appreciated how well-kept everything was and how smooth the whole stay felt. No issues, no stress.

Traveling with three kids is never simple, but Sea Chest Motel made it feel easy. The room was spotless, spacious enough for all five of us, and had everything we needed without feeling cramped. The pool was a lifesaver—my kids practically lived in it while we relaxed nearby. The beach being so close meant we could go back and forth without packing up half the house. This place just gets what families need.

Great place, very quiet. Small family owned motel, very clean.We had stayed for two days with children. One block from the beach. Hosts are very caring and attentive. We will come back again.

About 2 blocks from the beach.. 40 min walk to the entrance of the boardwalk. Clean hotel with friendly owners. We enjoyed our stay. One suggestion would be for the kitchenette to have more things such as lids for their pots, mitts, a set of smaller plates and a 4 count of glasses and coffee cups. There were only 2 of each.

The Sea Chest motel is a gem in the heart of Wildwood Crest. Our room, including the bathroom, was very clean. Our room had a full size fridge and freezer. There is free WiFi and a HDTV. Johnny, the proprietor, is very friendly and helpful. He and his family do a great job keeping this motel looking great. This motel's location is only two blocks from the south end of the Wildwood boardwalk. The motel is one block from the beach. We would gladly stay at the Sea Chest Motel again.

Comfortable, very clean, friendly family owners. The room is a bit dated, but this is like a lot of the motels on this area - part of the charm.

Property is a bit dated but overall compared wirh prices in the area, it was moderately priced, it was clean and well maintained.

Our family had a really nice stay at Sea Chest Motel. It’s a smaller, quiet place that felt safe and welcoming. The rooms were basic but very clean, and the whole property is clearly taken care of with pride. Great spot if you’re looking for something low-stress and close to the ocean. The kids were already asking when we can go back!

I booked this hotel on a whim for a long weekend. Let me just say it was such a cute little place. It is family run and the staff were super helpful. When we arrived our room happened to be ready early and John explained everything on arrival. They do not do house keeping daily but if you need anything they are right there to assist. The room was very nostalgic BUT we had a little kitchen with a full fridge , sink , stove, cabinets , microwave and table, that usually doesn’t happen at hotels/motels. We had fresh towels in-front of our room daily. Our room was clean the beds and pillows were very comfortable and it was perfect for what we needed it. The pool was clean and it was convenient to the beach. Would stay here again.
