Check in ...went to the front desk an ask for towels, lady sad no towels.20 minutes later she try to come in the room but I had the safe lock on.she call the room an said we could have towels
😳
The room was clean
The higher price when I checked in vs when I booked.
The staff was rude.
We had an early checkin verified but could not checkin early. They didn't have enough linen to go around, didn't have enough towels for all. The room had an odd odor. If you wanted to cook there were no pots, pans, dishes or plates and silverware.
Location. Polite staff.
They didn’t clean it daily. Had some interesting people hanging around the hotel but they were nice.
Price
I am still arguing my money back since I had to move to another hotel because of the smell of weed and no reimbursement since it happend everyday for 3 days in a row after i left.
The bathroom was newly redone, and the shower had amazing pressure
This is not a hotel for people traveling to this area for a Navy graduation, this is more like an extended stay for locals that live in the area and we didn't feel safe. The hallways smelled of trash from tenants dragging and possibly leaking trash bags. The microwave was placed on top of the refrigerator and my wife could only use the microwave by standing on a chair from the room There we're mounting parts on the countertop range for the over the range microwave and of course the space where the microwave been mounted was empty. There was no coffee pot and when we called down for one, they said they have some for sell if you would like one. The bed was cheap and not comfortable and small. The pillows were ridiculously flat and had to call down for more flat pillows. We did have a knock at the door and 2 staff members stood there and then one just walked in as we opened the door and said, "room check" and walked past us over to a QR code that was in the closet cabinet and scanned it and then walked right out. There was no safe for valuables and if we were gone, they still would have entered the room and we would have not known. We usually do not have the room serviced and take care of things ourselves especially when there is no safe for valuables and meds. We had to prepay for the room (Wednesday - Sunday) and left after one night and went across the way to the Hampton Inn. I will be contacting Booking.com to ask for a refund. The only reason we stayed here was, my daughter was staying at the Hampton and Wood suite is in the same lot, but the Hampton did not have any vacancies due to the Navy graduation on Thursday.
Very bad
Good location
Nothing
The rooms , beds were very bad. The staff was very rude.
The staff is very welcoming and makes sure that they exceed expectations and go above and beyond
Clean and comfortable room. They forgot to put the shower curtains and back that in my room and the lobby closes at 9:30?? I had to wait until the next day to get those things so I could shower
I didn't realize going into this that the property was completely self service, no room cleaning, no towel exchange, no linens, unless you are there for over two weeks. One front desk staff member was friendly, however the rest just seem inconvenienced by everyone.
The floor to our room was dirty enough that when you would get out of the shower, your feet were already visibly dirty again by the time you walked from the shower to the vanity area. I brought this up requesting the floor be cleaned, and I was advised that I would have to pay to have the floor cleaned. Same issue with the towels, 2 towels only go so far. If I wanted to have them exchanged, it would be a fee. If I wanted to exchange linens and make my own bed after 3 nights there, it would be a fee.
The place smells absolutely terrible. I can't stress this enough. As soon as you go thru the lobby (which smells fine), the smell hits you like a ton of bricks. All of our clothes got washed when we got home, clean or dirty, as the smell of that place was absolutely disgusting.
The bed's were uncomfortable to say the least. I've never seen such cheapness with a hotel before. They didn't have bed springs, it was just a metal frame and a mattress. Needless to say, it doesn't really work well like that.
No bathroom soap, one roll of Scott one-ply toilet paper, two towels, and one floor mat. Anything else, you have to pay for.
The rate was more than hotels in the area that are actually hotels, go there.
Clean, quiet (withe exception of traffic noise), and the shower was like a fire hose. Sheets were fresh and clean, pillows plush and plump.
Not a fan of the no carpet trend. The metal bed frame would squeak even with the slightest movement.
I could not find the phone in the lobby for after hours check-in, because there was no phone in the lobby. It was in the vestibule, which was dark so I overlooked it. Had to call the property on my cell phone for someone to check me in. Very frustrating after a long day of travel.
Also, I didn't notice until the morning after but there were old looking dried blood spots on the pillowcase I slept on that did not come from my body.
The place was clean and the staff were all nice and friendly and helpful. My only issue was a lack of locations to sit outside of the building. A bench or two would help. Thanks!
