Go to the bar. Walk the property and have a drink. But don't pay to stay there.
Pros:

No restaurant or spa as advertised. Clean nice place but way too expensive for what is offered.

Excelente ubicacion, buena limpieza, personal muy cortés, desayunos en el cuarto, ambiente muy agradable. En general, muy positivo.

It was a very nice facility, clean and in a good location. Beware of the gravel driveways if you are traveling on a moto
Pros:

Very quiet with nice scenery and clean rooms. Nicely decorated. Had a very country inn vibe. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable

Cons:

All gravel for both driveways and parking. Was terrible for someone traveling on a motorcycle. Also, no shower. While the jetted tub was wonderful my husband is not a bath guy. There was a handheld spray nozzle but he didn’t love it. It was fine but unexpected. We arrived too early for check in and the girl at the desk seemed a little annoyed. But she was nicer when we came back later.

A nice place to stay for a weekend.

Pros:

My room was cheerful, clean, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. It was delightful to have breakfast delivered to my room every morning.

Wonderful overall.
Pros:

Location and the grounds were beautiful. We loved the stream and trees. Corn hole was a bonus. The evening happy hour and morning basket of food and coffee was wonderful.

Cons:

A bit noisy at night (sounded like water was running- maybe an ice maker upstairs?). The shutters let in light in the early morning.

I will only stay at Orchard Hills Cottages when in Julian
Pros:

Everyone is super polite and helpful above & beyond. Perfect location for exploring the town of Julian and local hiking.

Cons:

The cottages are super cute & cosy with a mountain feel decor, some with fireplace. I love the welcoming staff and the relaxing happy hour.
