That the hot tub was out of order 😭

The couch is warm out, very hard to get comfy

Couldn’t see or hear the ocean

Everybody was friendly, granddaughter went exploring and pretty much told me where every thing was. Staff didn't care and some remembered her name

Let’s start out with saying somebody entered our room at 7:47 AM while we were both sleeping. Who doesn’t check to see if somebody has checked out we had the don’t disturb sign on. And who comes in at 7:47 AM to clean a room? Check out is 11 AM. This is absolutely unacceptable invasive intrusive unsafe. Fridge is broken hot tub broken. No one is ever at the front desk. Emailed a couple times before the date of arrival came to inquire and had questions and received no follow up. When checking in because we booked through Booking.com, they were unable to answer any questions regarding the fees and charges.

The sheets on our bed were dirty, there were two black hairs and you could see that someone else had slept in the bed before us. The carpet had food on it in two areas. The room was not clean.

Just about everything else. The first room we were given smelled awful. We requested a change and they moved us to another room. Smelled better but in dire need of updating. Room small and drab. Walls full of nail holes where picture hangings had been. No pictures. Bathroom, same. Old nail/ attachment areas on the walls poorly patched. Only one washcloth and one hand towel for a room for 4. l found a linen basket out in the hallway and took three washcloths but couldn’t find a hand towel. Room had no clock. No phone, but that may not be unusual in today’s hotel rooms. You had to go directly to the front desk for everything. Hotel is advertised with swimming pool and hot tub. Hot tub was disgusting. Yes, it had a sign on it that it was not working, but it was full of a green slimy looking water. If it hadn’t been functioning, why hadn’t they drained and cleaned it out in order for it to get fixed?
Breakfast minimal with make your own waffles, packaged muffins, breads to toast, and what looked like premade biscuits and gravy. I would’ve thought that the hotel could have at least two toasters, so that there wasn’t a lineup of people trying to toast, bagel or English muffin, etc.. Not one broken toaster(lever on one side hard to push down due to missing part) and slow to toast.
Security a little bit of a concern, as the front door was always open, and the back door was never locked. The back door was used to take out pets, and said door was always locked, but we never found it locked. We also had difficulty with our key cards, opening our hotel room and had to have them re-keyed once.

No water , except by the front desk that had lemons. I was looking for water bottles.

The shower curtain was not anywhere near big enough to hold the water back.

The hot tub didn’t work and was covered in plastic and was green under it 🤢

Such a big, cool area in the pool room! The upper level could easily be made into a hang out spot with maybe a pool table or card tables?

The sink was clogged, there was no hair dryer, breakfast is very scarce, no cooking supplies, CAN GO MORE !!!
