Outstanding communication with hotel staff and beautiful clean accommodations. Highly recommend!

Hotel tried to be trendy and groovy. Seems like that means no service. Never saw a staff member. Room was not cleaned. Continental breakfast was a joke. We expected them to tell us to vacuum and wash the windows. Interaction was by text messages telling us what to do. Room was trendy but did not have a decent place to sit. Would never recommend this hotel to friends.

Check in was super easy, key fob in the room was a great means for entry after check in, the room was very quiet, never heard much of anything other than some road noise which was fine. Location was fantastic, do make reservations at the in house restaurant.

We were disappointed. The room was nicely decorated and clean. Over priced and we were to have a courtyard view and all we saw was a roof and alleyway. European breakfast was at the end of hallway and had fruit coffee, tea, english toast, yogurt. For over $400.00 was expecting a little more for the price.

This is the absolute in luxury—will stay again. Everything is in walking distance.

Beautiful property! Love boutique hotels and this one can't be beat. Love the roof top, restaurant and high end furnishings.

The staff was amazing, especially the owners daughter who seated us in the restaurant :)
The room was lovely and very clean and comfortable.
We enjoyed the sauna and the rooftop!
There was a very nice spread of fruit, cheese, yogurt, nuts, boiled eggs, baguette.

Renovation is nice and location is great, but service experience was underwhelming. Between dining at street-level restaurant and automated management, felt cold, impersonal. Not what I was looking for to celebrate my wife's birthday. We aren't unaccustomed to paying $400 a night for accommodations, but this is the most unimpressed we've been by a service level at that rate.

Nice rooms, great location, and the view from the rooftop deck was awesome! Love the breakfast and coffee bar.

Everything is new and top quality. Didn’t get to use it but had a really nice sauna. Coffee and tea bar as well as a wine and beer bar/ restaurant on the main floor. Too cool yet to enjoy the roof top deck but it was really nice as well

Loved this little Boutique Hotel in the heart of Bayfield.

Very nice property, very friendly staff.

Our room was newly and handsomely renovated with a very comfortable bed and nice amenities. Our particular room was quite small (had to open suitcase on top of the bed) but I’m told they have other larger rooms. Restaurant downstairs is superb for dinner. No front desk; electronic check-in, but owners were responsive online.

This place is money! You feel like you are in a cool metropolitan stay in the heart of a city, but it’s in small town Bayfield. We stayed there to go to a concert and were so pleased with this place that we will make the trip back up there again just to stay at the S J Social. The rooms are so cool. There is a turntable in each room, excellent decor, a coffee in bar down the hall, a sauna and a private rooftop sitting area. I would live in this place! The restaurant and bar downstairs is amazing. Get up there and stay…it’s so worth the drive.
