Hotel Palomino

Great location. Excellent beds and a fun hotel. We enjoyed the courtyard and the restaurant.

Easy check in. Clean. Fresh cookies were a nice touch!

Palomino was an easy 5 minute walk to the busier downtown area of shops and restaurants. We rented 2 rooms at the property that surrounded a boardwalk courtyard with some outdoor seating. It feels new. The rooms with tasteful western decor were well appointed, airy and super clean. We found it to be a good value for the quality of the property. We definitely recommend staying at this neat boutique hotel.

Location is great as Ridgway is a cute town with so much charm! Perfect central location if you’re visiting Ouray or Telluride! Plenty of parking, communal grounds including a room that gives you access to extra items like water fill station, extra products and more! The atmosphere and rooms were so well decorated and modern. Clean, quiet, easy entry access instructions and overall a great place to stay in the San Juan’s without breaking the bank!

Our stay at Palomino Hotel was amazing! The room was so comfortable all the way around. It was decorated so cute and had a lot of small touches that made it personal.

This was easily one of my favorite stays during our Colorado road trip. Super clean, cozy, and it still feels brand new. I also love that it’s pet-friendly, so Marlene my dog got to enjoy this little getaway with us.

My favorite part was waking up to the mountain views, making a cup of coffee, and just sitting outside with the cool morning breeze. It was so quiet, peaceful, and exactly what I needed.

The digital check-in made everything so easy, too. No waiting, no hassle—just arrive and enjoy.

Definitely a 5-star stay for me. Whenever we’re back in Ridgway, this will be the first place I’ll book. Until next time, RidwayColorado.

The entire property is remodeled and has a wonderful boutique feel!! The rooms are remodeled and very clean and comfortable!! The value was a huge plus!! The location is perfect you are 10 minutes Ouray and 40 minutes from Silverton and Telluride is about 40 minutes!! The hotel is walking distance to downtown Ridgway and the restaurants are great!!!

Super cute place. Clean room. Comfortable beds. I love it when they make it personal, like leaving baked cookies for the guest in the room.

My wife and I loved the bunkhouse decor. The cleaning staff does a great job as well. Such a great central location for visiting the beautiful San Juan mountains. We visited Telluride, Ouray, and the Black Canyon of Gunnison. Then there is Greenwood’s Nextdoor. The food will blow you away, we ate some form of biscuits everyday, best I have ever had!!!

Great stay at this cute western themed motel. The rooms are spotless, thoughtful, and spacious with plugs scattered throughout (very appreciated). The contactless check in is a breeze, made check in and check out very simple. Its location is a great home base to explore the nearby Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and Ouray. We appreciated how quiet and peaceful Ridgway is compared to Ouray as well. Short walk to some cute restaurants and shops! Highly recommend!

Charming room with many amenities. Great WiFi. Spacious room with a loft and a small sofa. Check in was easy and convenient. Loved the in-room fridge/freezer and coffee. I especially loved the fire pit area. Great location for accessing Ouray, Ridgway, and Telluride. You can walk into town for food and drinks. Everything is close. Nice restaurant (Greenwoods) next door.

My sister and I stayed two nights at Hotel Palomino and enjoyed the cozy and cute room. We’re both neat freaks and really appreciated the very well cleaned room and well maintained condition of the hotel. Will definitely stay again on next road trip.
