Location despite of busy road. Lobby area.
The room was a hole in the wall . No coffee or hot water in the room. I had to pay $6 for a watery coffee because they only offer free coffee within a certain time range.
Great wifi (which I expected). Comfortable bed. Comfortable desk and chair to work in. The staff were serious about asking what I liked and didn't like when I checked out in the morning. I appreciated that.
The floor of the shower was slippery and there was no mat to mitigate the chance of falling. The lighting was great in terms of visibility, but I either had to turn everything off (total blackness) and crawl to a couple of lights to turn them back on or have too much light for sleeping. They provided two bottles of water, but the caps were so stiff I couldn't open them and there was no cup for me to get water from the tap. I chose to have breakfast ($22) and it wasn't worth it.

Games in the lobby
Extremely small rooms for the price. Toilet and shower are in a tight glass box in the central part of the room. The bed is bordered on three sides by walls, so the person sleeping near the window has to climb over their partner. Supposedly tech-forward, but the iPads didn't work in one of our rooms (and for many other patrons as judged by how many asked the humans in the lobby to schedule housekeeping because their tablets didn't work). We were dissatisfied and wanted to cancel the rest of our stay, but were required to stay for one of the three nights we booked. But they charged us for 50% of the total cost. We booked more spacious rooms at the Westin for the same nightly rate. The service at the Westin was of higher quality. I will never book citizenM again.

Staff not keeping outside noise in control. A car with multiple people were playing loud music at 3 am in the morning.
Always clean and nice ambiance throughout the hotel!
We couldn’t extend our stay for the same rate which was ridiculous! It’s the only thing that bothered us!
