The Swan Hotel

Loved the location and the room was very nice and comfortable.

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite and it was amazing. It was warm and there is not A/C, but there were fans available and as the unit is the whole top floor with balconies on front and back, we had great airflow. The rooms were amazingly clean and well appointed with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. With our own full kitchen, amazing views, and proximity to shopping and dining, we can definitely see ourselves returning.

Suggestion: offer a premium room package that includes chilled juice, pastries from local bakeries, oatmeal/cereal, and snacks etc.

Clean, quaint, comfy. But not quiet. It’s an old wooden building so the floors are creaky and we heard all their conversations .
If folks are upstairs it will be a noisy night for you.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Swan in Port Townsend!!! The hotel was quaint, charming, and so cozy from the moment we arrived. The rooms were the perfect size (comfortable and clean), but our favorite part was definitely the porch chairs. Sitting outside in the evenings watching the sunset was such a peaceful and memorable experience.

The location couldn’t have been better either. Everything in town was within walking distance, which made exploring Port Townsend so easy and enjoyable. We also loved that the hotel has an agreement with the gym across the street. We used it every day during our stay and it was such a great added perk.

Most importantly, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and sweet throughout our entire visit. Honestly, there’s nothing bad I could say about this place. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Port Townsend!!!

Our second floor room in the unique and historic Swan Hotel was lovely. We especially appreciated having a well-stocked Keurig coffee maker in the room along with mugs and glasses. Staff members were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of many of our favorite restaurants, so we pretty much just left our vehicle in the easy, off street parking. We would be delighted to have an opportunity to stay there again.

I have stayed here at the SWAN for several years and really do not look elsewhere. The cottages/rooms are always clean and fresh. the staff is not only very professional but very friendly and accommodating to ensure all your needs and issues are taken care of.

Stayed on the ground floor of the main building in the ADA room. Room was wonderful. Our dogs were welcome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient to downtown. We will stay here again

I loved the holiday decorations and the wreath on our little cozy cabin door. They also put lights on the larger building so it was totally decked out for the holidays. A favorite perk about The Swan that people might not realize it that you get free access to the gym across the street! I took a free Sunday yoga class, which was one of the best yoga classes I've taken in a long time.
We brought our dog Isaiah on the vacation as well, and when we entered our cozy cabin, the fireplace was on and they placed a large puffy mat on the floor just for Isaiah, including treats! The lady at the front desk was super welcoming, telling us she'd be there until 7 pm if we needed anything. Parking is so easy - we got our own spot next to the cabin. Every December we go to Port Townsend for an overnight vacation and to see a play at Key City Public Theater. We can walk from The Swan to the theater, the Maritime Center, Silverwater Cafe, downtown, and Uptown (everywhere we want to go, really) so it's just the perfect location. I highly recommend staying at The Swan!

The Swan Hotel not only met our expectations but exceeded them. We got a cozy cottage with our dog, and we were all extremely comfy. The staff even put a dog bed, treats, and had food and water bowls set up. It is the perfect location. We were able to walk to all the great restaurants and do our shopping. Being at the end of Water St. made it even more peace due to the one-way street. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you, staff!

Located downtown close to restaurants and shops. Comfortable and clean.

Stayed one night with our pup who had biscuits, a bed, foot towels, and food and water bowls to make her stay comfortable. We were just as charmed by the room which was clean and spacious. Very quiet at night, and the hotel was full. Great location to walk to all the shops and restaurants in the downtown area as well as some of the closer parks for the dog.
