Hotel Garrett

I wish I was traveling for something good. This was a funeral and I arrived late and the front desk was not very nice during the day. I had to wait until closer to 4 pm. I checked the front desk at 3:30 and the evening crew was there they were a lot nicer and more welcoming with the way my day had already went. I’m glad they lowered the deposit to $200 instead of the $300 that was expected. I understand the parking fee for the hotel parking but you should be able to get more than one pass if there is a second car. The parking is hard to find and driving in the area is stressful.

Although my friend and I booked our rooms at Hotel Garrett separately, the front office clerk was able to accommodate our last minute request to be on the same floor.
The housekeeping staff was very respectful of the Do Not Disturb sign.
Room was perfect since its purpose was to be a comfortable place to come and rest after a full day of being out.
The area around the hotel was surprisingly quiet for being in the city.
The only wish is to have an ATM machine inside the hotel. Went across the street to the sister hotel, SOMA House for cash.
Would definitely recommend to others.

The room is not clean, noisy area, a-lot of homeless, it doesn't deserve that high price, the only thing the staff so friendly and helpful.

I felt a little unsafe in that area. Parking is limited and $30 per night.

Great hotel for the price but not a good neighborhood.

It was an overnight stay, food was near by.

Advertising prices around $200. Does not indicate that the 1st night stay was over $500. Bait and switch. The courtyard was a parking lot. What happened at Travelocity? Due diligence?

Conveniently located near all the fun places. Rooms are nice, front desk is very helpful. Overall, a great deal at a great price

The area was not safe. The lower rooms had bars on the windows. Most rooms do not have AC. The management team was not able to accommodate my request for a mini fridge. Checked in and immediately checked out after the inspection of the room.

Nice place on Mission, easy to go from here to the Chase Center.

We stay at the garret hotel for a folsom weekend. The convenience of the location was priceless. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. The price couldn't be beaten by any other hotel of area.
I read reviews before going and most of them were complaints about the parking, saying that was very expensive and get full quickly, for that reason I reserved parking somewhere else, however, when i get to the hotel, the counter attendant offered me a parking space for a decent price, cheaper that what i paid on a "cheap" parking structure.
Didn't use the pool or gym ate the across street hotel but it was offered to me.

my room is small and basic but still cozy and practical.
fairly clean.
The roads can be noisy at night snd early morning, thus, recommend to close the window tight before sleep.
convenient to activities in SOMA areas.
