to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the price I was charged for my recent reservation.
I feel that I was taken advantage of. I was charged three to four times the hotel’s normal rate, and I was also required to pay the full amount in advance. It appears that the extraordinary demand caused by the FIFA World Cup was used as an opportunity to impose an excessive and unreasonable price on customers.
While I understand that hotel rates may increase during major events, I believe there is a significant difference between dynamic pricing and charging amounts that are completely disproportionate to the property’s normal value. As a loyal customer of Booking.com, I find this practice unfair and inconsistent with the trust customers place in your platform.
I respectfully ask Booking.com to review this reservation and explain how such an excessive rate can be justified. I also ask that you consider providing appropriate compensation or another fair solution in light of these circumstances.
I look forward to your response and hope Booking.com will stand behind its customers by ensuring that pricing remains fair and transparent, even during major events.
