Pros:

The room was very clean and spacious and I love the seating area for when you need to take off your shoes. It looked exactly like the photos. The shower was lovely perfect amount of room and the water pressure and temperature was perfect! The pool was amazing.

Cons:

The pool wasn't as deep as I thought it was going to be, and the floors were very slippery in the pool room. The floor should be a little more bumpy to prevent slips and falls.

Because everything including floors is bare concrete, noise travels a bit more. Pool is very small and cold.

Great Value, Room for Improvement
Pros:

Great location, friendly front desk staff, relatively new building, good amenities. Climate control & thermostat for each individual room was very much appreciated. Price in the winter was a great deal.

Cons:

Room could have been cleaner: pair of used contacts on the shelf in the shower, small stain on the comforter. Late checkout miscommunication had housekeeping come in our room without knocking while we were still there, not a big deal though since we were finishing packing up. Fresh fruit at breakfast was very old.

Traverse City, wine and Avid
Pros:

This property was in a good location between Traverse City and the East Bay Area. There is a Bob Evans right next door and close to gas stations and Third Coast Coffee and Bakery. The hotel faces the bay so all the rooms do not have water views.

Cons:

They use a cleaner that left an aroma in the air. Some might like it while others may not. The decor is very minimalist. The rooms are smaller, they are not suited so there is no extra chairs or a seating area. To offset that the lobby has furniture placement for lounging.
