The Confluence Hotel

The staff and the room were excellent. However, the hotel was not particularly ADA accessible. To get to the rooms from the elevator, we had to pass through a very heavy fire door. I could barely get the door open, and my very petite friend could not open it at all. There was no button to open it automatically.

This is a beautiful property and perfect for a short stay when you are looking for peace and quiet, but certainly not boring😉. Live music on the patio was a lovely surprise. The renovation of this historic building is just top notch; original elements that have been preserved maintain charm and modern decor is classy and unpretentious. The ONLY negative, and it’s a pretty big one, is the service from very obviously disgruntled servers in all parts of the property with the exception of the front desk. At the bar, as we waited for service we witnessed a loud conversation between two servers complaining about their hours, coworkers, and schedules. At the restaurant, wait staff at all three meals we had complained (to us!)about”the bosses”, being short staffed. and their own schedules. It took us by surprise, as every other part of our experience was really lovely.

Charming hotel. We were there for a wedding recep-tion and stayed overnight. Staff were great, rooms clean.

Waitress was rude

This hotel is in a lovely location. The staff are fantastic, especially Sharon and DeShon! The rooms are large and just much higher level for a three star hotel. All family and friends were very impressed!

This is a very unique and pretty hotel with an upscale restaurant and bar. The room was comfortable, spacious, and had a very nice shower. The location was ideal with a lovely view of the Mississippi. It was also within walking distance to all downtown shopping, coffee shops, and bars, which made it quite convenient.

Everything!!! Service was wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Beautiful, comfortable place! Coming back again!!!

This place is clean, unique and you cannot beat the view of the river! Staff member Michelle was helpful and friendly. Walkable to downtown Hastings shops and dining.
