The Cove At Salem

Beautiful property just minutes out of the bustle of Salem while still being right there!

It was so cozy and wonderful. My room was clean, up to standards, staff was excellent. The property was quiet. And such a vibe that you feel more relax and walk around the property. Definitely recommend it

Overall it was a nice stay at The Cove. Location was great for those of us not wanting to be right in noisy downtown. About 25 minute walk, and 5-7 minute drive to the heart of Salem. Room was clean, decor and styling was nice, and it was fairly quiet. The only negatives I have are that one day our room was only half done room service wise for some reason, and the original lady who checked me in wasn’t overly friendly. Not rude, but not nearly as helpful or friendly as the other guy that was there a few days later. I would probably stay again.

Everything was very nice and well kept

Lovely comfortable room. Coffee machine and dunkin donuts across the road. 15 minutes walk to town centre. Only downside on 2 separate occasions within first hour of check in members of staff entered the room without warning but was a mistake and very apologetic on both occasions

Excellent service. Modern clean rooms. Walking distance to downtown Essex Street. Or quick uber response. Awesome atmosphere outside area and rooms decorated was fun.

New section of the hotel was great, only 3-4 weeks in use. It was very well appointed & much more upscale than a typical hotel. Large screen tv, significantly larger microwave, amazing tiled shower. All of the staff were outstanding! We had great conversations with several of them & it was a pleasure to get to know them. There was a game room above the registration office that was very well done. We will definitely stay there for any future visits to Salem

It was very clean. My room had a drapery rod but no drapes the light came through the shade it was a little annoying. There is no hook in the bathroom for a towel would have been handy. The fire pits were either too high and in the wind it was a little unsafe or barely burned. A glass enclosure wall around them would help with the blow back.

There were no towel bars in the bathroom. The bath amenities are not luxury as stated. There was not an internal lock or bolt on room door nor was there an external lock on the building door to the outside. The staff was friendly.
