The hot water ran out before we could shower in the morning
Breakfast was delicious plenty of options to choose from. There was a shortage of plastic silverware but we came at the tail end of breakfast hours. Staff was Friendly and helpful. Parking lot was clean and well lit.
On our room that we stayed in there was a gap around the door, where you could see daylight, but couldn't see in or out, the latch would catch and hold but not by a lot, there was no privacy door latch as a secondary latch , so we moved a furniture and luggage in front of the door. Overall the motel seemed to be under a remodel so it maybe something they were working on, but made work for the busy weekend.

This property is rated 4-star on Booking.com (I rate it 2-star because it has an elevator and included breakfast--otherwise I would rate it a 1.5 star--compare its ratings on other booking sites); no staff at front desk several times even during daytime hours--only a handwritten sign to call them; no microwave in room though Booking.com listing says they will bring one upon request (and the breakfast room microwave was also broken); not-working refrigerator in our room (they did swap ours out with the one from the next room upon request); out of order washer and dryer; same breakfast our entire stay (except the last day they ran out of almost everything when occupancy increased); door to our room was poorly fitted and allowed air/light/noise through gaps; entirely cold water in shower our last day; unused and broken furniture left sitting around the property corridors; property was dirty/not swept/garbage not picked up during our 3-night stay...
I booked a room for two nights never got to stay in it. The woman at the desk the next day said they were all booked up but also said they canceled my reservation. It was 9 am. Seemed very fishy.
I slept in my car since the lobby was closed after 11 pm. Couldn’t get through in the emergency number either.

Hot water did not work. My wife did not get to shower for 3 days. They worked on it one day and it got warm. Next morning cold.
Convenient location
Floor in room was dirty even after being told that it would be 330 for us to be able to check in because they were cleaning it when check in starts at 3:00.
The air freshener in room was almost overwhelming
The door lock is difficult to operate the deadbolt.
They have a policy that requires $50 cash or credit card deposits. I use debit. This was enormously inconvenient and ended up causing us a late departure the next day because after being told we could retrieve our cash deposit between 6-7 am we tried doing this and no one was in the office, sign says office hours 7 to 11 so we went and got something to eat and came back at seven and no one was still there. It was 20 minutes later that someone finally comes speeding in after I called multiple times with no answer.
No where in my initial booking could I find this was a requirement. It’s only in the fine print in an email afterwards. Even when the lady was checking me in, she just asked for a card to put on file didn’t specify It had to be a credit card. I had to go to an atm and pay additional fees to provide the deposit.
No one would answer the phone on multiple try’s
I normally don’t write long reviews but I rely on them for where I stay and I was fooled into staying here by the reviews that were left so just trying to help others find a good place to stay. Not here from our experience. If our room was actually clean and they didn’t have the policy of no debit cards, and someone would be in the office or answer a phone when they were supposed to then my review would have been much different
