We had an excellent stay. The clerks at the front desk were so helpful and kind.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good. It was so convenient to have the restaurant inside the hotel .The location of the hotel was perfect. So close to all the shops and restaurants

We had a lovely time visiting the area.
Pros:

The breakfast choices were well thought out with a lot of variety. Although some mornings I would like something simple. (yogurt and fruit or scrambled eggs and toast).
PpThe service was friendly and quick.
We liked that their was parking included.

Cons:

We were there just before the busy season, so the hotel restaurant was not open yet for evening service or drinks. However the hotel manager recommended some restaurants for us to try.

I will recommend
Pros:

Very clean, fresh, looks new. Even the economy room was spacious. GREAT breakfast!

A luxury B&B and a gem of a hotel
Pros:

This hotel is a gem! Perfectly located in town in beautiful Bar Harbor, this hotel is more like a luxury B&B. We were here during a snow storm around Christmas week, and as our arrival and departure plans kept changing, the entire staff was understanding, accommodating, gracious and good humored. The included breakfasts were delicious and generous and were served in the hotel’s lovely Ovens restaurant. Our room was clean and spacious and well appointed. Special thanks to Tim, James, Georgina and Brandon.

Perfect for a short or longer stay.
Pros:

I am not sure what it is like in the summer season but it was perfect for a winter getaway....We had breakfast in the morning and it was very good way above the average "breakfast included" offering at a hotel. The location was great and room size was very comfortable.

great place to stay and eat
Pros:

New and clean room. Very comfortable. Parking under the building with elevator. Nice restaurant and the free breakfast that surpasses any that I have had. The people preparing it, really deserve a lot of credit. Good job

Pathmaker --- Great Bar Harbor hotel!
Pros:

Just back from a fabulous stay at this hotel over Thanksgiving. Wonderful location/gorgeous rooms/excellent food. Entire staff helpful and well-informed. Deborah in The Ovens was truly delightful.
