Property Description

Hotel Mai is a modern boutique hotel, newly built and completed in 2023. Located in the heart of downtown Long Beach near the water, and across from the Long Beach Terrace Theater, Hotel Mai is a short walk from some of the city's most popular eateries and nightlife, as well as the East Village Arts District. The contemporary rooms feature clean and minimalist design, smart TVs, minifridges, heated Toto bidets, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Grea hotel in a transient neighborhood. Unsafe!
Pros:

New, clean facilities. Close to things

Cons:

The area around the hotel is literally homeless central!! Transients, drugs, mentally ill literally everywhere! We never felt safe walking from our hotel to Kings Fish House on Pine. I counted over twenty indigent homeless people on our way there and back. Swearing, peeing, cursing, trying to intimidate us. It was literally brutal. That is why I don’t go downtown Long Beach anymore.
