Field Station was our home base for a trip to Joshua Tree National Park. We were familiar with the adventure hotel concept, as we stayed at Field Station Moab in 2024. Rooms were clean and comfortable (beds are great), although a little noisy as the walls were thin. Pool and hot tubs were a nice respite after a day in the sun at JTNP. Gear shop came in handy when my husband wanted a lighter/technical t shirt to wear. Front desk staff were pleasant and accommodating. Rooms do not have a coffee machine (wish they did), but coffee is available for purchase from the lobby/shop. There is a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. There is a microwave in the lobby. We didn't use the firepit, but it looked very nice. Hotel is about 20 min. from entrance to JTNP. Yucca Valley has plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations to meet your needs. Comparing Field Station Moab to Field Station Joshua Tree, I preferred Moab, but overall, well done Joshua Tree.
Exceptionally clean and well stocked rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast made to order for an additional fee but all fresh and good food/coffee. Great location for access to Joshua tree national park and the pioneer town.
We had a wonderful stay!
Unique in space and minimalist appearance. Awesome in every way!!
The staff was fantastic, they accommodated a last minute request, and were totally hospitable. They provided maps of the area, had suggestions of where to go and what to do, and answered all our questions. Highly recommended and looking forward to staying here again.
Nicely updated retro cool hotel in a great location.
Staff was helpful, friendly and caring .
The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was super comfortable.
It's not fancy, but again, super comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here and recommend it. I just wish there was a coffee maker in the room.
Beautiful interior design and renovation. Would come again.
Great spot
All staff interactions were amazing. So helpful and polite. Will definitely recommend to anyone who asks about going to this area.
Comfortable and cozy! Great stay!
The hotel feels brand new and is in perfect condition. The design is modern, minimal, and stylish while still keeping an outdoorsy vibe that fits perfectly with Joshua Tree.
The staff is outstanding—super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
Don’t be discouraged if the location seems a bit away from the park entrance or town—everything is actually really close by.
Pro tip: plan your visit through the West Entrance for the best access.
See staff was wonderful!
Clean, basic rooms. The fridge made some loud noises on my stay. So much so that I thought something had exploded but it was just a buggy fridge I guess. Also, the hairdryer was the worst. Very loud and not very effecient. Overall it was a great place for a few days and would stay there again but bring my own hairdryer.
There are some local eateries fairly nearby and the room was very clean, spacious, and nice. We really enjoyed our one night stay here.
Really enjoyed staying there all the staff were friendly, cool vibes thank you!
nice rooms, very clean
Staff was wonderful!! Friendly, suggested great restaurants and place to view stars
Great stay! Beds wonderful! Clean. Lobby has the best service and supplies.
It was a busy weekend with music venue nearby… it was loud but so fun!
Super easy check in awesome and friendly service! The room was very clean and the area was very quiet and comfortable!
