easy access and good amenities
Posizione a 15 min a piedi da Santa Maria Novella a piedi; tra i materassi più comodi su cui abbia mai dormito
Camera molto essenziale e porta della camera molto sottile - si vede che nasce come dormitorio/alloggio
Posizione centrale, la suora alla reception è stata gentile, la camera era pronta e mi hanno fatto alloggiare in anticipo rispetto all'orario di check-in. Tutto pulitissimo.
La camera era molto piccola, con un letto ad una piazza stretto stretto. Si vedeva che è un convento o ex tale. Tutto molto spartano e frugale. Per l'essenzialità offerta forse il prezzo era eccessivo. Magari potrebbero mettere in descrizione della struttura che si alloggia in una casa di suore.

Staff were unwelcoming. I had taken the time to email them our arrival time before we travelled (which they confirmed was fine) and yet they messaged whilst we were in the taxi from the airport asking us again and saying they would close reception soon. They were then in a big rush when checking us in, were cold and forgot to share the WiFi password, which meant we had to purchase 5G as we had no internet that evening (we messaged them to ask but received no reply till the next day). The room did the job but it wasn’t particularly pleasant, all quite basic.

Pienessä yhden hengen huoneessa oli kaikki tarvittavat mukavuudet: ilmastointi toimi moitteetomasti, sekä lämmintä- että kylmää vettä tuli 24h. Tv toimi. Pieni hylly purkeille ja purnukoille olisi ollut kiva. Vuode oli hyvä 🙂 ja 2. kerroksen kadunpuoleiseen huoneeseen ei kantautunut häiritsevää melua ( ainakaan korvatulppien läpi). Käytävällä pieni keittiö, jossa yhteinen jääkaappi/pakastin, vedenkeitin. Mikrokin taisi olla ja muutamia astioita.
Aamiaisuonetta vastapäätä oli ' cappella', josta sisarien laulu iloksemme vienosti kantautui.
Sisäpihalla kutsuva puutarha istuinryhmineen lehvästöjen varjossa lisää kohteen viehättävyyttä.
Aamiaisbuffetissa leikkeleet, jogurtit ja mehut ja olisi voitu laittaa tarjolle esimerkiksi kylmävaraajien päälle, mikä ei ole kallista eikä teknisesti vaativaa 😃 mutta varmistaisi tuotteiden raikkauden aamiaistarjoilun ajaksi, klo 7.30- 9.30.

Vicinissimo alla stazione.
Nonostante ci fosse il condizionatore perfettamente funzionante, abbiamo provato a dormire con le finestre aperte perché da fuori – miracolosamente – entrava una bella arietta fresca, ma non avevamo fatto i conti con i rumori provenienti dalla strada la mattina dopo: pareva da sta a New York.
