Don’t go there unless you’re ready for a hostel solo travel experience
Pros:

Literally just the location

Cons:

Staff weren’t accommodating or friendly, rooms were not equipped for more than one person. This was more like a hostel room than anything else. Towels were worn out and room didn’t have a pleasant smell.

Worst experience at Nouvelle Hotel Itaewon
Pros:

Nothing at all. This is a shockingly bad hotel.

Cons:

We checked into the hotel in the evening and found that the toilet sink pipe was damage and the water leaked through to the toilet floor. The toilet is smelly due to the leaking pipe. We could not stay in the room because of the smell coming from the toilet. We decided to leave early morning and demanded for a refund but the night staff could not help us and suggested that we wait to for the manager to come in the next day at 10AM. We were uncomfortable the whole night while we were in the room.

The next morning, we went down 9am to arrange to check-out of the hotel and asked if the staff can contact the manager. We were then told that the manager should come in at 10:30AM. (Hmm...an unexpected delay?)

We asked to check-out early and the staff said they would refund the room booking due to the damaged sink. So we left the hotel thinking that the hotel will honour the refund.

Unfortunately, in the afternoon, I received a message from the hotel stating that the manager has fixed the leak and due to their regulation, they will not being issuing the refund.

I asked for them to send me the regulation but I have not receive any reply.

I could not verify their claim to have fixed the damaged sink immediately upon the arrival of their manager because we have already left the hotel and have no intention of going back. . I can only assume that their manager is also working as their plumber too.

This is such a poor customer experience and I'm surprise they proudly displayed a sign stating that they have a Gold Award from Agoda.

Het hotel is goed gelegen in Itaewon. Als iemand die graag van het nachtleven geniet is de ligging perfect.

Cons:

Ik heb bij het inchecken aangegeven dat ik graag een dagelijkse schoonmaakservice zou willen voor mijn verblijf. Dit was geen ene dag het geval. Nadat ik het de tweede dag had aangegeven met een vriendelijke gezicht werd er tegen mij gezegd dat het vanaf de volgende dag anders zou zijn. Dit was totaal niet het geval. Naast de slechte service op dit vlak is de douche een drama. Als je van een zwembad in je hele badkamer houdt is dit het juiste adres. Slecht afgewerkte vloer waardoor water door heel je badkamer stroomt zelfs met 3 handdoeken op de grond.
