I recently had the pleasure of staying at 8 Motel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I checked in until the time I departed, everything was handled with professionalism and care.
1. Cleanliness and Room Condition
The first thing that struck me was how incredibly clean the room was. As someone who is quite picky about hygiene, I was impressed by the spotless floors, fresh linens, and the overall sanitized feel of the space. The interior design is modern and minimalist, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—I had some of the best sleep I've had in a long time!
2. Amenities and Facilities
The motel provides everything a traveler might need. The high-speed Wi-Fi was stable enough for streaming and remote work, and the large-screen TV was a great addition for winding down in the evening. I also appreciated the complimentary refreshments and the high-quality toiletries provided in the bathroom. The shower pressure was excellent, which is always a huge plus for me.

The location is another major highlight. It’s situated in a convenient area with easy access to public transportation, trendy cafes, and local restaurants. Despite being close to the action, the room was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's rest without any city noise disturbance.

Perfect Location: It is located just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, making it incredibly easy to explore major attractions like Dongdaemun and Myeongdong.
Impeccable Cleanliness: The room was spotless upon arrival. It’s clear that the management takes hygiene very seriously, which made me feel very comfortable.
Modern Amenities: I was impressed by the high-quality PC and the large flat-screen TV in the room. It was perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing.
Friendly Service: The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Despite the language barrier, they went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed.
Great Value for Money: Given the central location and the quality of the facilities, the price was very reasonable. It’s a perfect choice for budget-conscious travelers who don't want to sacrifice comfort.
Overall, it was a 10/10 experience. I will definitely choose Sindang 8 Motel again for my next trip to Seoul!

Prime Location: The accessibility is unbeatable. It is just a few minutes’ walk from Sindang Station (Line 2 & 6) and Cheonggu Station (Line 5 & 6), making it incredibly easy to reach Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, and Itaewon. Plus, it is right near the famous Sindang-dong Tteokbokki Town and various local eateries.
Exceptional Value for Money: For its budget-friendly price, the quality of stay exceeds expectations. It is perfect for travelers who want to save on accommodation without compromising on essential comforts.
Cleanliness & Amenities: The rooms are remarkably clean and well-maintained. I was impressed by the fresh bedding and the modern, clutter-free interior. They provide all the essentials, including a strong Wi-Fi connection, toiletries, and even a large bathtub in some rooms for a relaxing soak.
Convenience: The self-check-in process is seamless and quick, and there are convenience stores (like 7-Eleven) and local supermarkets just around the corner.

The location was okay, the space in the room and the bathroom was enough for me and my luggage and the decoration of the room was cute. There was a hair dryer, towels, shampoo, and body shower. As well as a tv, a small fridge and a table. There are many restaurants and bars nearby.
The pillows and the sheets were not clean. They didn’t smell bad bad but they were definitely not washed or replaced between the previous guests and me.
El alojamiento cumplió con nuestras expectativas, muy cerca de los metros y paradas de buses, ubicación centrica y a los alrededores hay muchos restaurantes que te hacen vivir la experiencia de un ciudadano.
We arrived a little early and the place is the kind where they send you the code at the set time of the check-in, in our case it was 4 pm. So I found the phone number and texted the owner and he lets us put our luggage in the vicinity, which was nice. The place was in an excellent location and the rooms were exactly as pictured. They put every tool in the room including multiple electric dividers and even mobile charger with cable included, which came in very handy. The shampoo and condtioners in the bathroom were from a good brand and not generic like most places. The place was neat and excellent value for money!

The bathroom had a few bugs and drain flies when we first got in, the wifi just wouldn't turn on for our room, there was a weird smell to our room, and the walls were so thin that our neighbors kept waking us up around 4-5am. They also offer you a free $10 Starbucks gift card if you leave a 10/10 review for them which is why it's rated so highly.
