Un endroit qui se veut élégant mais qui finalement est de pacotille.
Pros:

Nous n’avons pas aimé grand chose à part la gentillesse de la personne qui nous accueilli.
L’établissement n’est clairement pas à la hauteur de ses 4 étoiles et du prix qui va avec!

Cons:

Tout d’abord, nous étions seuls dans l’hôtel alors je me demande pourquoi nous avons eu la chambre PMR. Salle de bain peu pratique avec toilettes et douche qui coule. Nous avions demandé un balcon avec vue sur travaux dans la rue. Le lit est trop dur. L’hôtel est mal insonorisé. Petit déjeuner sans chaud. Pas de jus d’orange frais alors que c est la saison ! Mais la dame nous a dit que ce n’est pas le cas !!!! Et enfin, prudence sur le restaurant de l’hôtel Essenza qui se prend pour un restaurant un gastronomique avec des produits de qualité médiocre et des portions ridicules. Comme nous l’avons dit, nos plats nous ont été offerts et nous avons payé le vin et les couverts.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit toller Gästebetreuung.
Pros:

Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön. Es gibt einen tollen Aufenthaltsraum. Leider war während unserem Aufenthalt das Restaurant geschlossen doch in der Nähe gibt es gute Alternativen, die zu Fuss erreichbar sind. Da das Hotel im Ort liegt darf man keine absolut ruhige Lage erwarten.
Die Zimmer sind toll ausgestattet, sauber und die Betten sehr bequem.
Das Frühstück ist gut.
Gute Lage für Ausflüge zum Etna.

Sehr schönes Hotel in Trecastagni
Pros:

Hotel liegt in einem kleinen, eher verschlafenen Ort - aber günstig gelegen für Besuche von Ätna, Catania, Taormina, etc. - ein Auto ist aber sicher notwendig. Das Hotel ist sehr schön renoviert, auch die Zimmer sehr komfortabel. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal (wir waren aber auch im Januar die einzigen Gäste...). Gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Der Kaffee :) - investiert in eine richtige Espressomaschine. Im Ort selbst gibt es nicht viel - das Restaurant im Hotel (Essenza) ist gut, aber ansonsten gibt es nicht viel fußläufig erreichbar (Tenute Nicosia ist gut, sind aber 15 min zu Fuß in relativ einsamer Umgebung).

full of art, it's spacious and the owner's wife can't do enough for you - constantly asking if she help in anyway and recommending places to visit ... also for those who have an electric car you can charge the car overnight in their private garage which is great

Pros:

Good location. Easy free on street parking. Good continental breakfast. Good recommendations from the staff. Restaurant downstairs fantastic. Visit Maternatura in Nicolosi for Scicilian pottery.

Overpriced.
Pros:

It was easy to park at this property and it had nice art, a outdoor courtyard for breakfast, hot tub on the roof area. The staff was amazing and very helpful, they went above and beyond.

Cons:

The room quality was not reflective of the price of accommodation. In comparison with similarly priced hotel rooms in more exclusive locations, we thought it lacked the quality you would expect at the price point. The bathroom was basic with economic fixtures, as was the furniture in the room. There was no view from the window and our room really didn’t look like the photos on the booking site. We felt it was overpriced. The vibe was more like that of a hostel than a hotel, with individual cutlery cubby’s and individual fridges in a community space. The staff were amazing and very helpful.
