Exceeded expectations on all levels. Richard was a gracious host/manager. Dining staff friendly & attentive. Food was great.

From the start our experience was lovely and felt very special. We were collected from the parking by a buggy which took us to the hotel. Our room was lovely with amazing views over Lake Como and its own balcony. We decided to eat in the hotel on our first night and were given a table outside by the pool, which was a pretty setting and we had an amazing view of the sunset over the lake and the mountains. The food is thoughtfully prepared using some fresh produce from the hotel garden and delicious, so much so we eat there on our second night as well. Breakfast is equally as good with a variety of options. Both waitresses were friendly and knowledgeable, Anna made sure we had everything we wanted. Tina in charge of reception helped us to organise our day exploring the lake. Richard was so interesting to talk to and explained the story of how the hotel started and plans for the future. In the day the pool, hot tub and sun loungers all have fabulous views of the lake. Colonno a short walk down the path, that runs by the side hotel, is an
unspoilt fishing village with a beautiful church and small harbour. We both agreed that the hotel exceeded our expectations and we’ve recommended it to lots of friends and family.

The hotel is small and the elevator was tiny.
Great location, very quiet surroundings, only 9 rooms or so and all service felt extremely personal and welcoming. You need a car to get here about 30 mins from Como town, and they have a private garage 2 min from the property. Beautiful views from the pool deck and restaurant overlooking the lake for every meal. They also have their own gorgeous garden where they grow produce for the restaurant where you can walk around. Perfect for a 3 day stay with short drive to main ports in menaggio to get to belaggio and varenna for a day trip. You can also rent a Como boat with a private driver picking you up right by the hotel and taking a tour around the lake and dropping you off anywhere. This was the highlight of our stay and totally worth it for a once in a lifetime experience.
We had some bugs in our room but probably came in from the balcony so not really a complaint

L’accès
Tout. L’emplacement. La vue exceptionnelle sur le lac. Les équipements (même si la piscine est un petite) les installations. La cuisine avec les légumes et les fruits du jardin. Et surtout la qualité de l’accueil et le service: Richard évidemment mais pas seulement. Tout le personnel est très gentil. Aucune pollution sonore car la route passe beaucoup plus bas.
