Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Gardea Soulfamily Resort Hotel. Alle Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich – besonders Aurora an der Rezeption, die uns herzlich willkommen geheißen hat. Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen es zu 100% weiter!
Definitely the place to go if you have small children. Property was beautiful, the staff went above and beyond to please. Food was excellent!
We loved everything about this hotel.. the atmosphere, the food and all the little details. A perfect place for a family vacation with children

• The restaurant is mediocre.
• The hotel is poorly located
• The facilities are not worthy of a five-star hotel.
• The bedding is mediocre, absolutely not worthy of a five-star.
• The rooms are noisy and the cleaning is not good
• There is no valet service. Upon arrival, we had to insist for the hostess to show us the facilities and our room (otherwise, they just hand you the key and you have to find it yourself! Seriously ?).
• Check-out is at 10 a.m., whereas the standard is noon or even 1 p.m. This schedule is unacceptable.
We paid more than €700 per night for a very bad room with no view. I regularly stay in five-star hotels, and during our trip to Italy we only stayed in five-star establishments. I can assure you that this hotel is barely worth 3 stars.

What an amazing hotel. Their website and the reviews don't convey some of the important small details about this hotel that make a family stay.
First and foremost, this is obviously a hotel for families. They prioritise the kids and that's amazing. The kids club is really good. They print the weeks itinerary that runs from Monday to Sunday so that you can see everything that is on. You can drop your kid/s at anytime without booking them in so it's so easy to pick and choose when you want some peace! There's lots for the kids to do so they don't get bored. Although I think a few more toys or activities might help for the times when there isn't a defined activity scheduled.
The pools are brilliant and it's generally easy to stay close to your kids and have an eye on them. They are of a good depth and slightly heated. The only negative is that the tiles on the inside are super slippery.
We thought the food was really good and it was nice to experience different types of Italian food. Make sure you like Italian food though as getting any other type of food is impossible with the exception of a couple of things on the kids menu. There was always plenty of choice at dinner but it would have been good to see a few other things at breakfast or a change of some things from day to day.
Finally the staff. They are incredible and so friendly. They are almost at the level of the friendliness of Fijian people and that is really saying something!

Krásný, čistý, moderní hotel, skvělý a ochotný personál, vše co jsme potřebovali, nic nebyl problém. Plno vyžití pro děti. Za nás ideální hotel pro rodiny s dětmi. Byli jsme v tomto hotelu již hned po otevření a musím říct, že za ty 2 roky vylepšili spoustu věcí, ať je to servis v restauraci, doplnění zábran atd. Je vidět, že opravdu naslouchají hostům a ladí detaily. Určitě sem pojedeme znovu!
The staff was very kind. There were thoughtful touches for the kids like gifts, entertainment and nighttime stories.
This was the most I’ve ever spent on a hotel room. Two hooks fell off the wall in the bathroom. The “suite” is no bigger than a typical hotel room in the USA. The property is not easily walkable to town. Paying for water at dinner feels insulting when it is included for breakfast. We were told there was a six night minimum and another family we talked to were told there was a five night minimum.

Gardea has thought of everything for families. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, modern facilities and is spotless. The staff are so helpful and friendly. We had such a lovely trip.

The Staff is Top
This was a family trip with two kids , 10 &14 years old . It was a brilliant trip , staff including kitchen team were welcoming, experienced and friendly , food was amazing, generous , variety of Italian cuisine , freshly made, tailored to your taste and by order daily. we were treated as they would treat their family.
Location is perfect for families who would like to do activities with children, cycling, swimming, walking , hiking, sailing. The view of the lake is amazing from the pool. Pool has warm water and plenty of chairs and sun-beds around the pool to relax . A water slide trampoline and little play area were bonus for those with small kids .
Hotel was clean and spotless, rooms are comfortable, beautifully designed and each individual room has view of the valley and lake .
Overall we loved it and would like to come back soon
Pillows could have been more plush but otherwise terrific. Staff are lovely.
