Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per qualche giorno e, purtroppo, l'esperienza è stata al di sotto delle aspettative. Nonostante venga presentato come un hotel, si tratta più propriamente di una pensione, con servizi molto limitati e un'atmosfera tutt'altro che accogliente.
Il personale è apparso spesso sgarbato e nervoso, poco disponibile ad aiutare o fornire informazioni. In particolare, un ragazzo giovane alla reception sembrava completamente privo di modi e professionalità.
Il servizio in camera lascia molto a desiderare: gli asciugamani vengono cambiati solo a giorni alterni (senza che questo venga comunicato in anticipo), la doccia è priva di piatto o cabina, con l'acqua che finisce ovunque, rendendo il bagno poco pratico e spesso allagato.
Il Wi-Fi prende malissimo, sia in camera che nelle aree comuni, rendendo quasi impossibile lavorare o anche solo usare il telefono in modo normale.
La colazione è estremamente scarsa: poche opzioni, qualità discutibile e porzioni ridotte. Nulla a che vedere con lo standard che ci si aspetterebbe da un vero hotel.
In conclusione, l'esperienza è stata deludente. Con qualche accorgimento e più cura nell'accoglienza e nei servizi offerti, potrebbe migliorare, ma al momento non lo consiglierei

Ah la cosa bella (parlo per me) che essendo vicino lo stadio da calcio ho avuto il piacere di sentire il Tifo e di vedere un pochino di partita .

Pros:

Hotel Villa Mena is a cute family run hotel about a 15 or 20 minute walk from Forio. The staff were very friendly and tried their best to speak English (as I can’t speak much Italian). I would recommend having dinner at the restaurant. The food was the best I had in Forio, authentic and good value.

Pros:

Posizione eccellente, soprattutto se si viene in scooter poichè si raggiunge in poco tempo sia Forio sia altre zone belle per fare il bagno. La location è in generale molto bella, pulita e curata.

Cons:

Unica pecca del soggiorno: per 3 volte sono entrati in camera membri dello staff (pulizie ed idraulico) senza preavviso e senza chiedere permesso. Nel primo caso si sono subito scusate, ma nel secondo, l'idraulico (che non avevamo chiamato noi) è entrato senza spiegazioni anche se gli avevamo detto di aspettare. Nonostante ciò siamo stati comunque cordiali...paradossalmente è stato lui a mostrarsi infastidito nei nostri confronti ed è andato via senza neanche avvisare di aver concluso il suo lavoro (che comunque non ha risolto la problematica della camera) nè salutare.

Great stay, very close to the beach and town centre!
Pros:

La posizione è davvero ideale: a pochissimi minuti dal mare e a breve distanza dal centro di Forio, raggiungibile con una piacevole passeggiata. Il signor Angelo, suo figlio e tutto lo staff sono estremamente gentili e disponibili, sempre pronti a offrire ottimi consigli su spiagge e luoghi da visitare sull’isola.
Non si tratta di un hotel di lusso, ma il rapporto qualità-prezzo è eccellente. Un soggiorno semplice, accogliente e perfetto per chi desidera vivere Ischia in tranquillità.
