Everything is very family-friendly, but at the same time it manages to feel sophisticated and upmarket for the adults. The location in a pine forest is stunning and the beach is perfect and only a few steps away. Shame the pool is unheated and doesn't have a shallow end for a more relaxed swimming experience. Mind you, the sea is very shallow, clean, clear and warm, so we spent most of our time on the beach rather than by the pool. Great kids' club, services and staff.

Every year is an amazing family experience. Beautiful location, wonderful food, perfect for kids. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing resort to spend time with kids. Kid’s clup equipe is fantastic and trattoria Orcio personnel is very professional, nice and makes your stay like family.

Amazing, in all aspects. A little paradise spot. Beautiful sea and beach. The houses are beautiful and very comfortable. Staff is kind. Food is great although quite busy and messy at breakfast. The only moment we did not appreciate is our encounter with the photograph who wasted our time taking photos and then proposed ridiculous prices for us to buy them.

First of all I would like to congratulate all the staff. Always very kind with our kids and very professional. Special thanks to Anna at the trattoria and all her colleagues. Kids club staff also amazing - our kids loved them . Very impressed the work done every night and the energy delivered 🩷

Things that could be improved:

- Breakfast should be served until 10:30 and not 9:30 kids go to bed until very late with all the activities they need to sleep. We had to rush every morning to have breakfast. With the amount of costumers they should have a second place for breakfast- it can be very busy !!

- very disappointed that the bar at the lounge was closed

- swimming pool- not very welcoming.

- during the e afternoon only the beach outlet was open.

- at night not all the lights worked to go to our roo.

- imposible to charge our electric car at the hotel they don’t have a proper charging station.

- food was very good at the trattoria but after few days it gets a bit repetitive…. And options in the many are not amazing.

- Our double bed in our room was solid like a rock and very noisy when we turned.

- fridge in our room was dirty

Things that we loved:

- the views from the hotel are absolutely amazing

- the staff

- the beach - clean and we had our own sun beds and umbrella.
- clean towels every day
- all that you need for your kids is available
- night activities for kids

Beautiful landscape, genuine family oriented resort and impeccable service - these are the 3 main things for me about the Gattarella resort.

We stayed there in July 2023, this is was the first seaside vacation for us as a family with our 20 - month old daughter. The resort was recommended to us by our relatives who stayed there many times with their kids. And I shall say that it didn't disappoint us at all.

First of all, I was impressed by the beautiful nature and a well-planned set-up of the resort - wherever you go (to the restaurants, to the beach or swimming pools), there was always a shadow, which was quite important to us, since we knew that we were going to stay during one the hottest periods of the year. I shall also say that the sea here is quite shallow that makes it perfect for the small kids, like our daughter. This, together with multiple activities on the beach that Gattarella offers brings lots of fun and joy to your beach vacation.

The second thing that is amazing here is that HOW MUCH it is family oriented, and this includes not only facilities (various playgrounds, baby club, etc), amenities (like kids beds, trolleys, baths, bottles warmers, baby bottle sterilizers) , entertainment (evening shows and day activities at the club) and special food for kids, but also the environment that the Gattarella creates for families. It might be difficult to explain it in words, but it is something that you feel immediately once you arrive there. Myself, as a first-time parent, I've been always stressed about how my much of the mess my kid can make when we go out. And here, at the Gattarella, it does not really matter - first of all, because you are surrounded the by the families like you and secondly, because all the staff is always taking it like absolutely normal - always with a smile, always very patiently and always very welcoming. Needless to say that this attitude takes away the stress from the parents.

The third thing is the impeccable services - we, as first-time family travellers had many various requests and I would say that 100% of them were satisfied, starting from the change of the room - in order to put a kid bed in a separate room we were upgraded at not cost - and finishing with a take away lunch for our daughter - she was falling asleep sometimes before the lunch started. The staff was always very welcoming, very responding and very much understanding. And we appreciated it a lot.

One more last thing that I'd like to say is about food. The food was delicious, and the choice of the food for the kids was quite reach, and, to my surprise - our daughter was eating pretty much everything, not like at home :))

We will be definitely back next year - I'd like to see again the happy face of my daugther while dancing on the beach with the Gattarella staff :)

The location id amazing and the infrastructures to help families with young kids are top notch. There is a nice variety of bars and restaurants. The Animation Team is a lot of fun and our kid really enjoyed it. The beach is beautiful and very shallow, which is great for the very small kids
