Luxe , boutique accomodation the perfect getaway for food , drinks and rest .
Pros:

Everything, what a little gem . Luxurious and comfortable. The best service , attention to detail and amazing food , drinks and pub atmosphere.

Cons:

Would have loved to have a coffee in the cafe but it’s not opened Mondays (my problem not theirs)

Beautiful country hotel with luxury touches
Pros:

Beautifully renovated maintaining the lovely character of the hotel. Sparkling clean, fabulous shower. Comfy bed. Meal in bistro excellent. We had the local farm scotch fillet which was perfectly cooked to our liking. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons:

A bit of confusion when we arrived as the hotel was not yet open so we needed to collect the key pass from the motel further down the road. But easily managed via a phone call.

Holbrook Hotel Half Way Haven
Pros:

Great place to stay half way between Sydney and Melbourne. The food is amazing and an extensive selection of beers and wines to make it even more special. Room was spacious, newly renovated and a lovely bath room.

Cons:

Restaurant opened a bit late for breakfast if you need to get on your way, especially if you need to get to Geelong to catch the Tassie ferry. Even if it opened at 7am it would be fine.

Beautifully updated historic hotel with great paddock to plate restaurant
Pros:

Authentic heritage feel, with modern room facilities. Comfortable and quiet. Terrific restaurant serving produce from the farm of the owner. Nice quiet location, very close to the freeway.

Despite room being over bar, pub closed at 10pm do wasn’t really an issue.
