Pros:

The location and how peaceful it was.
Paradise, tranquil. Staff were great and you didn't even realise you were in a resort.

Cons:

Ants in the room. Getting into all the food.
Pool had too many leaves and twigs.

It would have been perfect and 5 star...sadly 4.9 because of these points.

Facilities were good but lack of free wifi and access to food shops a disadvantage
Pros:

There wasn't any shops within a reasonable walk and driving is difficult as freeway and train line divides accessibility

Cons:

Location remote from any shops. Address was confusing and entry was difficult to find. No clearly marked parking near reception when attending reception. Having to pay for WIFI in this day and age seems unreasonable - $15 per day so $30 for overnight stay.

Good, minus the dirty smelly blankets
Pros:

Cons:

It was really a cold night, beds made with only a thin bed sheet to cover oneself in such low temperatures. The blankets in the closet were smelly and uncomfortable.

Could be great, with a little attention
Pros:

Resort style property, with permanent residents and others offering accommodation here.
Our room had a great view over the pool and yard.
Large size rooms.
Had a nice lizard on the ceiling in our bedroom.

Cons:

This place is located far from everything in Cairns and around.
We had to fight for the remote controllers for the AC units, they stated we cannot use the units in all rooms at the same time because they will break.
Didn't have towels, they blamed this on the cleaning service who was late for two days.
There is no elevator, so we had to climb our luggage on the stairs to the third floor.

The staff member called Amelia was lovey very helpful. Area around the pool was very nice

Cons:

The dirty sandwich maker dirty blanket lumps of food on the wall. A staff member had a very bad attitude and seemed like she couldn’t care less about what I was asking her. She was working from 9.00am on Saturday 17th Jan.

Pretty good, acceptable, reasonable price for 3 rooms.
Pros:

Like home, we can cook for family gather together. Clean beds rooms, living rooms, kitchen.. Swimming pool for kids.

Cons:

It doesn’t provide toothbrush or toothpaste and most of areas in bathroom are old and rusty should be changed. Eg. Bin, sink..ect

Suitable but underwhelming, would not stay there again.
Pros:

Apartments are spacious and well equipped, lots of facilities available (tennis court, gym) the pool kept the kids entertained, the building although not in a great location (industrial area) is in secured compound.

Cons:

Poor maintenance, we had 2 apartments they both look quite dated (unlike the photos in the ad) cleanliness was poor, reception hours were insufficient.
We booked a month in advance requesting earlier check in (midday) due to an elderly family member but it was ignored.

Pros:

It was basically a great stay except the checkin procedure.
For other facility, and checkout, it was great!

Cons:

We arrived a little late, the inter-phone of the reception is extremely terrible. It repeatedly timed out after talking with the staff for 10-20 sec. When we called next time, another staff picked up the inter-phone and he has to check our name and reservation from the beginning. When he confirmed our reservation and was about to share the checkin and door unlocking information, the phone timed out!! We spent over 20 minutes here and it was the most disappointing thing.

Great spacious apartments equipped with all you need & ammenties.
Pros:

Great space for our family of 4.
Pool amazing

Cons:

We did get a complaint from the person on the floor below to stop walking around our apartment one night as they could hear our footsteps …bit hard for a family of 4 with 3 of them males over 6 foot tall to tread lightly!

Tropical Getaway
Pros:

Loved the pool and we felt like we were staying in the rainforest with all the beautiful trees and gardens. Apartment was roomy and comfy. Very relaxing atmosphere.
