Beautiful setting, views of the lake. Nice filling breakfast, we enjoyed thr bacon and scrambled eggs. The room was clean and almost lole ti was brand new. The espresso machine in the room was a welcoming treat.

Paisagens deslumbrantes e uma atmosfera acolhedora tornaram a estadia muito agradável. No entanto, para quem viaja de carro elétrico, a experiência revelou-se desafiante. O hotel não disponibilizava carregamento para veículos elétricos e, a cerca de 10 km (na vila), o único posto de carregamento estava inoperacional, sem alternativas próximas e sem resposta eficaz do serviço de emergência. Esta situação quase comprometeu o fim de semana. Para um concelho que tanto valoriza a natureza e o turismo sustentável, seria essencial investir mais em infraestruturas de mobilidade elétrica, garantindo que todos os visitantes possam desfrutar de Montalegre sem preocupações.

This is a modern property. We had a room with a panoramic view onto the lake. Breakfast buffet was good but disappointing selection of Portuguese cheeses.
The hotel has recently added a restaurant - excellent.
Very little English spoken.

Amazing views, welcoming staff always ready to share their knowledge of the area. Very clean and confortable rooms with a great views of the lake and mountains. Food at the restaurant was very tasty and servings were very generous. Great selectionbfor breakfast, but would prefer if they started serving a little earlier.
Overall an excellent choice to explore the Barroso and Geres regions.
