Stunning hotel, exceptional service
Pros:

We stumbled across this place due to a late change in plans. So glad we did! It was amazing from the check-in to check out. We got an upgrade to a larger room. The location is very quiet, just above the river. The pool was great, with pool service in the afternoons. We ate at the restaurant on our last evening when they had the bistro menu, food was top quality, with fantastic service to match. Final point, my wife left her over shirt in the hairdressers in the small village of Briollay, 3km down the road. The hotel agreed to go pick it up for us as it was closed the morning we left and then the organised courier delivery back to the UK! Going over and above! Will 100% be back if we are in the area again!

Ein sehr besonderes Chateau an einem tollen Ort — auf der Durchreise Richtung Atlantik ein toller Zwischenstopp – man fährt dann die nächste Etappe nicht mehr lang.

Domaine très agréable

Cons:

Pas beaucoup d'espace à la piscine qui paraissait plus grande sur les photos. Travaux de réaménagement des espaces autour de la piscine en cours.
Restaurant très surcoté. Très cher pour la qualité servie. Pas à la hauteur du "gastronomique" annoncé. Pas beaucoup d'autre choix autour à moins de faire 20 minutes de route.

Nous avons adoré le cadre et l'environnement très reposant.
Le confort et le calme de la chambre.
Un séjour parfait pour se reposer et profiter de la très belle piscine et de la nature environnante.
Le personnel très sympa que ce soit à l'hôtel ou au restaurant.

Cons:

Douche sans paroie, ce qui n'est pas très pratique.
Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré en terme de choix.

A pretty chateaux with good food.
Pros:

Evening meal was lovely.
Lovely outside terrace.

Cons:

Pool area disappointing. Pool looked tired. Could smell animal excrement while around the pool. Bedrooms small.
Lack of staff at breakfast. Too many flies on all the food off putting. Poor coffee option just one machine.

Cons:

Our room had terrible stains all over carpet and both sets of curtains were hanging off railing. Pool area neglected with terrible loungers. Maintenance here seems an issue

De grote kamer was zeer comfortabel, zeker het bed was geweldig. De badkamer was genieten, alsook de continue koeling met deze hittegolf was geweldig. De algemene beleving van de accommodatie is super

Cons:

Het algemeen onderhoud heeft nog werk, de omgeving rond het zwembad was slordig en niet waardig aan dit hotel. Alsook in de kamer modder sporen op het tapijt, alles was zeer proper maar is jammer om te zien als eerste indruk van de kamer. De bediening in de bar liep zeer stroef in de avond, wat jammer was gelet op de mooie bar en terras.
