Esk Grand Hotel

An incredible, nicely refurbished historical hotel! The bedding is excellent, the rooms are have modern amenities, while showcasing the historicness of hotel. And the front desk staff really support bicyclists! BVRT riders will feel at home.

The Hotel is old but spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Fully authentic vintage pub stay, loved it. Had the creaky floor and steps, the meat tray raffle at the bar, great food and staff that were very welcoming.

A lovely colonial hotel. Make sure you know about the shared bathroom. Staff very helpful and lovely. Rooms are very basic. No extras like tissues, reading lamps, cups etc.

No tea or coffee in room, only to be purchased in dinning room, but had a kettle and fridge, but no cups!

Staff were so hospitable thank you - was a quaint experience

My Name is Jay and I'm Profoundly Deaf , I stayed over night on the 16th of June 2025: Eve , Micheal and all the staff I come in contact with were/are fantastic, friendly, helpful , kind and very accommodating. Being a Profoundly Deaf person , all the staff tried their 100% to communicate with me. I recommend The Grand Hotel Esk to anyone needing a wonderful place to stay , have a fantastic meal and injoy a family friendly atmosphere.

Nice clean room, shared bathroom old but clean. Bed very comfortable

Classic hotel rooms above a country pub. Beds were super comfortable. Outdoor eating area was nice.

The BEST Country hotel I have ever stayed in. The cleanest room with the sharpest hospital corners I have ever seen. Kitchen served up a great meal and the best part was the friendly attentive staff. If you're going through Esk don't push on, stay the night, The ESK Grand hotel is worth the stay.

The property was well presented and had very friendly staff , the only issue was that there was no toilet in the room and only one bathroom for all guests , also no hand basin in toilet room

Bathrooms need to be upgraded.

Enjoyed the stay & staff very friendly with meals and outdoor garden area lovely. The main thing missing was a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea/coffee early in the morning.

Convenient, clean rooms, great staff, convenient parking, delicious food.

The Manager was very welcoming upon arrival. He gave us
lots of information about our stay and the surrounding area. Supplied a secure locked storage for my Bicycle. Food was amazing and all the girls behind the bar and in the dining, area were friendly polite and very accommodating. I look forward to staying there again next time I am in the area.

Great country hospitality at a very well maintained venue. Very high service orientation from all staff. Very clean and inviting environment. Great food at the restaurant onsite. Overall a great place to stay in the lovely town of Esk.

Delightful country hospitality and dining. The room was clean and comfortable.
Like some older country hotels, the room did not have an ensuite - the bathroom facilities were shared between rooms - although there was a basin and mirror in the room. The shared facilities were clean and securely lockable from the inside for privacy but may be an issue for some travellers.
