Magnifique hébergement, dans un très beau cadre. Chambre spacieuse et literie très confortable. Un bel endroit pour se ressourcer.

C’est un endroit féerique. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et nous a parlé de son projet et de ses rénovations. Le souper était vraiment excellent. Un des meilleurs que nous ayons mangé en France. Nous y retournerons sans douter et nous informerons nos amis de ce magnifique endroit.

Wow! Quel magnifique environnement. Un hotel de luce, un personnel accueillant et très serviable.

Truly wonderful. Room was spotless, comfortable, spacious and bathroom was exceptional.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was seasonal, tasty and well presented. Good wine list.

A beautiful newly constructed set of buildings set at the top of a mountain with exceptional views of the countryside.
The room was a little small and lacked storage. USB sockets were available for charging equipment. The downside for us was the stairs, they were narrow, steep and numerous. There is no lift. The dining room is amazing with huge tropical plants and acoustic panelled walls.

Wonderfully quaint with excellent service and attention. Comfortable beds with great shower just added to the appeal of Chateau de Villars

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
I met the owner who was extremely unfriendly so I guess it’s no surprise that we didn’t get much of a welcome. They do not care about guest satisfaction. We did not sleep at all. We were in room 7 which was boiling hot. There is no AC and no fan. They make no attempt to help you. We had our 7 month old baby with us - it was completely unacceptable. None of us slept it was 34 degrees in the room. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS. They refused to refund us. We booked through Expedia they didn’t help either. Save your money - stay elsewhere. Food was overly pretentious too and not worth the high price tag. The service was poor here. Maybe because we are English they didn’t like us? Very bad experience. Avoid.

A new and great hotel! The surrounding is magnificent. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bed linen is so good. Bathroom is beautiful. The interior is very well curated. The dinner is fine dining this is really great. Staff is friendly and service minded. Enjoyed all!

Great location, still being modernised/finished. Not suitable for accessibility, (lots of steps). Food is OK but definitely not worth the cost. Tea making facilities were a joke unless you like flavoured tea and coffee if you take it black was good.
Room view was uninteresting.
No outside surface is finished.

We stayed twice, at the beginning and end of a cycling trip to Montpellier. The hotel is welll located for Via Rhona and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The place is spotlessly clean, and the food spectacular.

Simply wonderful in every regard. We will include this hotel in any further trips we make to the Rhone valley. Staff are lovely, engaging and helpful. The food and wine just fantastic. The accommodation clean, modern of high-quality.
