Would not recommend the Family Hotel mainly due to the fact that there was no hot water

Location was good, bed was comfortable

Cons:

The shared bathroom was barely usable. The toilet worked thankfully but no hot water in the shower. I know it is budget accommodation but to have no usable shower is very poor.

1 no hot water for my 2 day stay ( I just traveled 9 hrs then day 2 was hot and I worked physically for 6 hrs I tried the water at 4 pm 6 pm and again at 8 pm as sometimes the water gets used at certain times NO HOT Water )
2 the tap water was a bit brown
3 the small fridge for visitors was disgusting iced up no shelves
4 no milk for coffee or cereal
5 the staff weren’t interested when I said there was no hot

water anywhere on the whole top floor showers , bath or sinks all they said was well the the manager next week
6 greasy utensils due to no hot water

Pros:

Not alot, but the location was great.

Cons:

The staff were borderline rude and not very welcomming. There was no hot water the first night and the shower would not turn off, keeping me awake till 1am in the morning. I mentioned the hot water and water not turning off to staff down stairs at the bar, but they didnt seam to care. Shower doors dont lock also, so you are constantly worried someone is gonna walk in on you. I was abused by some bloke in the pokie area, who seamed to be very intoxicated. The food was very average and not enjoyable to eat, for the prices they were asking. Rubbish blowing around every were in the common areas for the accomadation. Also the amount of rubbish left lying around in carpark also. There was no fan or source of heating in the room and it was very unpleasant.

Pros:

The Family Hotel is a fantastic pub accommodation, the Service was great and the Staff were very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was fantastic, the food was beyond pub-grub delicious and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere was so good that I changed all my plans just to linger! Ich komm wieder 👍🏻

Cons:

Es hat mir Nichts nicht gefallen. Für den Preis und die Lage einfach unübertrefflich! Auch für romantische Wochenende unbedingt zu empfehlen, wenn man preisgünstig reist und sich WC und Bad teilen kann.
