Pros:

Great people, very understanding, will always be a go to stay for me when in Geelong. Amazing rooms, extremely lovely vibe to them, relaxing and comfortable. Staff are great and great location!

Lovely Hotel, great value for money
Pros:

The room was lovely and the bed so comfortable. The location central however it is right in the nightclubs district so if you are a light sleeper, you may find sleep difficult. There was a group of us that stayed on a Saturday night and some of them struggled with sleep due to the sound of music until 7am. I however heard nothing and slept through the night. I still believe the hotel is great value for money and would definitely stay there again but only if I can get the same room... I don't think noise would be an issue midweek.

2nd night in same room
Pros:

Best priced motel in Geelong

Cons:

No fresh towels, coffee, sugar or milk for the 2nd night. The body wash in shower was empty as was 1 of the 2 in bathroom so to get bidywash u needed to step out of shower pump a couple onto palm each time, but it is what it is without having a cleanup crew come in as we didn't check out. Also the security bond was not just put on a pending hold it was withdrawn from account and still waiting for it to be returned to my account.

Disappointed
Pros:

Great location
Clean and convenient
Stayed multiple times previously

Cons:

We have stayed at the Electric Hotel several times
Knowing the property and how busy the ground floor entrance is, I specifically requested a room upstairs, I was sent an email saying that my request had been confirmed, however we were given Rm 1 which is basically the first room on the ground floor right next to the front entrance. Probably the worst room for noise in the whole building.
Disappointing to say the least.

Served it's purpose
Pros:

What breakfast? Room was nice, bed was good and price was good.

Cons:

Didn't receive the check in code to my phone, tried checking in again via email, which was very slow, while standing out in the cold. Woke up about 2.30am hearing the doof doof music from the nearby nightclub.

My stay exeded expectations, I will definitely be back.
Pros:

The location was great could walk everywhere i wanted. It was extremely clean and comfortable.
Everything i wanted. The check in and out was the easiest i think i have ever done.
The 11 am check out was a bonus..

Cons:

I have no complaints at all... oh I didn't like the coffee cups 🤣🤣

Tidy but would not recommend on a weekend
Pros:

Room, clean and tidy. Good facilities, comfy bed.

Cons:

So noisy. I was there on a Saturday night. Noise from a venue nearby and then guests coming home late and leaving music blaring when I assume they had fallen asleep.

Good sized room and comfortable bed.
Pros:

Great location and great value for money. Clean room. I had a comfortable stay.

Check in was different to what I’m used to. I guess that why it’s called the electric hotel.
