This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
Location was wonderful, room was great, clean and spacious.
Bed was slightly uncomfortable
Once I was inside and settled, the room itself was very good. It was modern, well designed, clean and well equipped with all the expected conveniences. The room was also reasonably quiet considering its central location, which made for a comfortable stay. It is in the central area of Geelong
Finding and accessing the property was quite difficult. The hotel is located on Ryrie Street where parking is metered, and there is no dedicated parking available for guests. When I arrived, the street parking was full and I couldn’t find anywhere nearby to park my car, even temporarily, to unload luggage.
The building was also not well signed, which made it difficult to locate. I had to drive up and down the street several times in busy traffic before I finally found the entrance.
Once I arrived, I couldn’t access the building initially because entry requires a code, which I later realised had been sent in an email.
Another thing to note is that the property is more like a boarding-style accommodation with multiple rooms rather than a traditional hotel, which may surprise guests expecting a typical hotel setup.
The room also did not have anywhere to hang clothes, which would have been helpful even for a short stay.
Great location, vibe and price point.
I could not get the room dark enough at night and had a bit of fuss checking in, but it all worked out in the end.
Great central location, big rooms and good amenities
Quiet, close to The Spirit of Tasmania. Loved the bathroom body wash and shampoo Have already ordered samethankyou
No Parking Our fault should have checked. Car out on Street
The place was nice and spacious. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had a good stay and enjoyed our time there.
Location and cleanliness and the room looked great.
The room had no windows, there was a sky light that let light in all night add to that the very bright green light from the smoke alarm and The bed was really hard.
Comfortable, lots of different teas, also had toiletries
No on site parking
A lot of space in the room and bathroom. Cozy bed
It smelled of urine and the carpet was covered in huge stains.
The room was exceptionally dark and surprisingly quiet for the location. The sound proofing helped immensely.
The hotel is ideally placed for the pubs and restaurants nearby .The only downside to this for me was the noise that travelled from the nearby bars until the early hours of the morning .
The access link from Booking .com did not work , this was remedied by a call to the hotel management who then sent me the information by text . There are no staff in situ at the hotel .
Clean and comfortable bed. Unfortunately near night clubs. you can hear the party sound from there.
$10 breakfast voucher. It is not Breakfast, It is one hot drink voucher and the value is not $10!! Very misleading. I strongly believe they need to change the wording. No parking space and didn’t realise how difficult it is to get a roadside parking
A great stay here with my favourite contactless entry ( which meant I could arrive when I wanted to). A great stay with everything I needed …..and at a great price too!
Loved the ensuite tap ware…very boutique-y 🙂
Parking on the street was just a little tricky, due to the hotel being in such a popular spot, but I was lucky and scored a front door spot after popping out to pick something up!
Check in was easy with being provided everything via SMS. It worked quite well and we accessed our rooms easily. We also liked how quite the inner rooms (without windows) were which made for a good night sleep.
The issue with an unstaffed hotel is that you constantly have to make a call if you will let folks in that have a suitcase and which had not received the instructions as they could have malicious intent.
Not having parking outside night time might be an issue for some but it didn't
