Cons:

Breakfast menu, every day same menu. I have stayed 7 days and feels like I have loosen my appetite to eat every day same Breakfast.

Another great stay at Dorsett Melbourne
Pros:

4th time we have stayed here. Great location easy to walk to Spenser st outlet. Staff very welcoming and great value for money.

Cons:

Cons:

layout and design of the rooms. There is no storage for clothing and hanginging space & hangers were limited. Lighting for women to put on make-up very poor - not considered, Uncomfortable and limited seating were placed in awkward positions. The iron kept spitting and leaking (probably been dropped a few times) and marked multiple pieces of clothing. No shower caps provided. Soap and lotion dispensers awkward to use. Though dispensers are the best way to go. The lack of storage space/drawers to put clothing in is the main reason why I probably won't book the hotel again.

The staff were friendly and it was a good price and location.
Pros:

The location is very central to everything in the cbd and transport to other areas.

Cons:

The bed sheets and pillow cases never got changed. The bed got made but there was a small blood stain on 1 pillow case when we checked in, it was the same pillow cases 5 days later. We also had to call at 6pm 1 night to get our room made, fresh towels and toilet paper.

Pros:

The location is excellent. I can walk to the downtown and southcross station. There are a lot of restaurants around. The bed and the bathroom is nice and clean. I stayed here in 2023 and I stayed again in 2026.

Cons:

The breakfast is not as good as it was in 2023.

We booked the Deluxe King room and got upgraded to a Junior Suite for free for a special occasion and they also provided a bear and a congratulations card which was cute. It was a good location with trams and trains within a few minutes of walking.

Cons:

The bed was slightly on the harder side.
