Problems started at check-in. The front desk attendant took some time to locate my reservation, and when she finally did, she told us that nothing had been paid in advance—despite the fact that everything had been paid in advance. When we tried to confirm whether the room was the correct type, she had to ask her colleague.
The room itself was not bad, but the corridors smelled strongly of fresh paint, possibly due to a recent flood. We could still see signs of damage in some areas. Cleanliness was below expectations, particularly in the bathroom, which didn’t have a proper shower enclosure—just a curtain. In fact, we were given an accessible room, even though none of us have a disability.
The worst part of our stay happened when my wife went to the front desk to ask for a roll of toilet paper and a bar of soap (which, by the way, was a miniature). The receptionist was extremely rude and started questioning why we needed them—implying we might be trying to sell them. That’s completely ridiculous and offensive.
Perhaps the issue was with the two girls working on September 27th, as the other staff members seemed fine.
Breakfast was also disappointing. Only one person was cleaning tables and refilling food, and she clearly couldn't keep up with the number of guests.
I honestly can’t believe this hotel has such a high score, especially when compared to other places I’ve stayed with the same rating.

Comfortable stay, communication with staff not always easy but they were nice. About 13 minute walk to main part of town which got a little old when I would have loved a nearby restaurant to grab a bite. But overall I was very happy with the hotel.

Flotte og komfortable leiligheter i nytt og moderne bygg. Parkeringsgarasje i kjelleren, som var veldig praktisk. Gangavstand til alt man ønsker å se i Aix. Vi hadde ikke frokost på hotellet, men det så fint ut dersom man ønsker det.

I would have given 5 stars except for a weird little interaction right at the end, when I asked the person at reception for a scissor to cut the tag off a shirt I’d just bought. He said we don’t have scissors at reception. No “let me ask my supervisor” or “maybe there’s one in the office right behind me.” Just basically “no” and no effort. Otherwise, clean, close to the train station but quiet, nicely equipped kitchen which I didn’t use bc it was a short stay, all positives.

A/C in the room worked well. Otherwise it was fairly basic. Felt more like a dorm than a hotel. A bit far to walk for good dining options.

This hotel says it has parking on site, but they don't take reservations and it fills up quickly, leaving most of our group with no place to park at the hotel. It was a bit of a hassle. There's also not really a convenient loading area, either. They service the rooms only once every 3 days, so 1 serving of coffee for 2 people was inadequate from the start. The first day i asked a housekeeper in the hallway got more coffee, but she said to ask reception. The second day I asked a housekeeper in the hall and she gave me more coffee. However other members of our group were told they couldn't have more coffee because they didn't check some box, we have no idea what. I also ran out of toilet paper my last night and had to use the facial tissue...

Modern, new hotel, good facilities and not far from the centre of Aix.

The parking was fully booked but is wasn't too hard to find a space in a nearby side-street. There are not many shops/bakeries etc. near the hotel so you will need to walk into the centre to get a coffee/croissant, about 10 minutes.

Dejligt hotel. Der manglede bare en del køkkengrej, for at kunne lave mad.

We did not know that you could absolutely not get your room cleaned unless you stay a week. We were there three nights and all of our trash cans were overflowing. We had to get clean towels by switching out our dirty ones at the reception. Also there was no soap in the room. Every day we had to ask for a tiny bar of soap that was good for one shower. Pillows were bad. We bought our own pillows in town. Location was good. Short walk to the main area of town.

En dehors du fait qu'on avait une chambre avec 2 lits, la réception nous a assuré que vous ne lui avez pas transmis ce détail. Bref sur cette question à revoir.

Breakfast had plenty of food to offer. Re eption were helpful and friendly. Needed shampoo and body wash in the studios
