Beautiful accomodation amazing staff 10/10
Pros:

Loved everything! Room was amazing. Bed super comfy. Large claw foot bath. Beautiful old style decor. Staff super polite, friendly and helpful. Dinner at restaurant was yum-3 nights, 3 different amazing meals. Lounge was beautiful to sit in and have a couple of happy hour drinks - large comfy leather chairs, fireplace .. beautiful fixtures throughout - perfect!! Our room also had a cute little balcony! Also breakfast was included, which was great too! They do fabulous coffee!

Cons:

There was nothing bad at all. If I had to pick something-the bedrooms are all open plan bed/bath with toilet behind a glass screen.. fine for a 25+ years married couple but maybe not so good for a new couple .. but they make that very clear in the ad.

The rooms - comfort and cleanliness was excellent. Nice bed. Outstanding building.

Cons:

The breakfast and dinner was not good, bar experience average too. These things are possibly the only thing holding this hotel back from being truly wonderful.

Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, sauber und außergewöhnlich. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet. Etwas ungewöhnlich ist die offene Toilette, aber das wussten wir von Anfang an. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein schöner Aufenthalt.

A great restoration job.
Pros:

Beautifully restored old hotel. Well located in central Eden. Off street parking at rear. Staff were very pleasant.

Cons:

The room we had is quite small and the bathroom is a little odd as there is no door for privacy.

Lovely place to stay but don't bother with restaurant.
Pros:

Beautiful rooms, everything you could possibly want is in the room.
Very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, the food is ok, the service dreadful. Perhaps the restaurant was dreadful as we stayed on Sunday night.
Plates not cleared, shared a main course for an entree and not given share plates, main courses came the staff just disappeared!
Wondered around the place to pay the bill strange place.
The bar is very bright.

Wonderful stay in Eden and plenty to do
Pros:

Everything, location, quiet, clean

Cons:

The room is a little small so there was no table for us to put our breakfast tray on except on the balcony but it was too cold to eat outside. A breakfast cart would have been handy
