Lovely old hotel with fresh restoration . My wife loved the Claw foot bath in the room.
Shower needs a screen as a lot of the floor gets wet and drains away from drain grate once past shower cubicle.
Bath is nice but only suits short people.
Toast was cold when brought to us in dining room and no orange juice available even though requested from night before.
We need to make our own toast when we are ready .
Loved how old pub had been fixed up nice job👍👍
Beautiful old building fabulous rooms would liked to have had a second night but unfortunately they couldn't accommodate. Definitely recommended
The fact we didn't have another night
Schöne Inneneinrichtung
Gutes Bett
No door between toilet and bedroom
Beautifully done restoration
Food was terrible
Great location in the centre of Eden. Stylishly renovated hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and very clean. The bar is great and we enjoyed a drink on the verandah overlooking the street.
The hotel menu was very limited for vegetarians, so we went to the next pub for dinner. The lack of any door to the bathroom/toilet is a bit disconcerting and the whole layout of the room could have been managed far better. While our room did have glimpses of the sea, the view was dominated by the rear beer garden and association buildings, together with new construction works. Next time, we will stay in one of the front rooms overlooking the street.
Fantastic hotel in old victorian-wild west style.
A great breakfast is served in a marvellously decorated room. The pub was nice too.
Pub closed at 21.00 h which is quite early for us europeans but in australia it seems to be the norm so no big deal here.
Our toilet had no door, it was however hidden in the corner of a small room in the bathroom and the walls were so conceived that at no angle were you able to see the person on the toilet. It didn’t bother us at all but it might bother other people i suppose.
Location was good. Did not eat there as the menu did not reach expectations. Too much craft beer.
Bar menu. Too much craft beer. Breakfast offering was not to expectation for a room that you pay $243 a night for. Whilst it was complimentary breakfast, the offering was ordinary. E.g. No eggs or bacon.
The room was great, will likely stay again.
Room was very small
The place was decorated nicely, renevation was well done, beautiful in areas. Has a bar and restaurant on site, very convenient, location is good too.
The room was crowded and small, no where to put anything, staff need training, fire alarm went off around 10pm, have to put on robe(already in bed) and evacuating.
Gorgeous rooms.
Friendly staff.
Good food.
Our room was beautifully furnished and very clean
NA
The bed super comfy
Location of the hotel is good
General style of the hotel is nice
No where to hang clothes in room
Design of room was interesting. No privacy as the toilet is situated in the middle of the room.
Staff in bar and restaurant not motivated and generally stand around chatting. Food from restaurant was very average, wouldn’t rate!
The hotel is fantastic with great public areas including a well stocked bar and lovely restaurant. Rooms are lovely with very comfortable beds and ameneties. Onsite parking and location is right in town.
The attention to detail was a bit lacking, the staff were more interested in chatting to each other than engaging with guests. Menu items not available after a cruise ship had been in port! But no mention of this until we went to order. I get that the cruise ship revenue is very important to towns like Eden but to run out of Oysters and not proactively try and get more for your overnighting guests or at least say something when asked is we were booking in for dinner to me was a bit dissapointing.
