Still the best option for Makassar but please , take a look on the quality of the breakfast.
Pros:

I do love this hotel , every time we come to Makassar we stay here since we still believe it’s the best option amount all of them.

Cons:

Unfortunately, this time, comparing with previous times, the breakfast got a huge downgrade. The food was “not very fresh”. We always choose this hotel not only for the comfortable of their rooms also because the breakfast use to be awesome. This time we were quite disappointed with the breakfast, actually it was exactly the same as previous times but now food is not that delicious. Fruits just to be fresh and sweet , now they look like they were prepare a couple of days earlier and some of them like honey dew completely impossible to eat it. Nasi goreng same stuff, croissants same stuff. So yes, we still had breakfast for 3 days because it was convenient and the place and staff are very nice, but please , come back to the previous standards when everything was delicious.

Propre neuf moderne et le personnel.

Cons:

Isolation phonique. Chambre mitoyenne beaucoup où l on participe à 100% avec les conversations du voisin. Incompatible dans ce type d etablissement.

Pros:

Excaptionally clean and beautiful rooms. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of international as well as local specialisties. The quality was also of a very high standard. As I have been numerous times to Makassar and also know the other Hotels which play in the same league (e.g. the 4 Star Hotels located at the seafront),. the Hyatt offers a way better, more luxurious experience for the same price. In my opinion it is by a large margin the currently best choice for a stay in Makassar.

Cons:

The only thing I was slightly disappointed, and this is very picky, where the bananas at the Breakfast buffet. As I am arriving from Europe, I am always going forward to taste the delicious flavours of a banana in Indonesia. Unfortunately the ones these had during my stay at the buffet tasted like our European banans. But as I said, this is literally the only «negative» point...and one I am happy to ignore given the rest of the experience at the Hyatt.

Cons:

Nous avons entendu les nombreux ébats du couple de la chambre d’à côté. Je pense que c’est dû au fait que nous occupions une chambre communicante. Il faut mieux insonoriser ce type de chambre au niveau de la porte de Communication. Nous avions l’impression d’être dans la même chambre.
