It was next to beaches and pricing. It was a nice quiet getaway.
We did not get enough bedding. We booked for three children but only two blankets and two pillows were provided. Some of the cooking utensils weren’t not cleaned properly but must of been for the people who stayed before us. It was ashamed that the water park was closed however that was not disclosed when the booking was made. It was only disclosed upon arrival at the reception that it was closed.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and suited our needs for a 2 night stay for 3 people. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a playground for the kids and a short walk to the beach to see the sun set each night.
Bed was comfortable and close to shops.

Water park was a big hit for the kids
The location is great I love Normanville and this park is located in great location - close to the beach and main town. The kids really loved the waterpark and this is a great feature for them plus there is a lot of green space around which is excellent. The staff on entering and exiting the park were lovely and great, however, I can't say that for the person we dealt with when there was an issue.
We booked through booking.com and believed we were booking a pet friendly cabin, however, apparently this was not the case. We arrived after reception had closed, so was not aware until the next day that there was an issue receiving multiple phone calls in a row (I was in the shower for goodness sake - be patient!) and then knocking on our cabin. When I went to discuss (out of the shower and dressed) I was told there was nothing they could do and the issue is between myself and booking.com - apparently after doing the booking we need to email the caravan park and let them know we were bringing a pet - no idea where that instruction was located do not recall seen it anywhere. When I said the issue was not between me and booking.com I got told it was and apparently Darryl had gone above and beyond for me - not sure how that can be claimed when all he did was make one phone. This was unfortunate as it was a weekend I had been looking forward to for sometime and we were down there with my daughter and grandchildren. It lucky we don't live far from Normanville and we were able to make arrangements for our puppy, but if that was not the case it wouldn't have ended well.

The water park was great
The $21 date change fee upon arrival was a surprise. The floor in the cabin was a little dirty and there was a long black hair in the bed.
