Hôtel La Prison

The Hotel La Prison is a very quirky place to stay. Cells have been converted to rooms. Our room was on the 4th floor with amazing view but not part of cell block.
Room was spacious with good bathroom- no fridge in the room and pool was very green and didn’t look too inviting to swim in.

A really cool overnight stay. Well designed and authentic apart from the restaurant which seems an odd addition. The hotel sits wonderfully in the historic plaza by the cathedral. Very comfy bed. Breakfast though was bang average

We received a wonderfully warm welcome from staff pursuing the highest standards of customer care and engagement. The Hotel la Prison is part boutique hotel, part immersive cultural experience, part modern art gallery. And the sum of the parts is a unique hotel experience. Really enjoyed the quality of the breakfast, even if range limited (curated!), in the attached bistro and the ambition in the evening meal we had in the same location.

After a snafu with my VRBO, this was the last room in town. BEST BAD LUCK EVER!!!! The hotel was great!! The staff was awesome. The breakfast was slightly overpriced for the limited amount of options, but the view itself was INCREDIBLE!!!

I was a little concerned about the lack of A/C in the rooms on a VERY HOT WEEKEND, but with the fan and the thick prison walls... it was no sweat. Literally!!!

Arrivée pas pratique car pas de parking propre à cet hôtel. Les clients de l'hôtel ne semblent pas prioritaires pour la réservation d'une table pour dîner dans leur partie restaurant de l'hôtel, sachant que la situation semble compliqué pour réserver une table dans cette ville, donc un peu déçu de ne pas se sentir prioriser. Le lieu est incroyable avec une superbe vue, et le couloir de nage est vraiment un plus pour le charme des lieux. La chambre manque de rigueur pour la propreté (la poussière est présente sur plusieurs rebords dont sur le ventilateur plafonnier, la salissure des assises est visible) mobilier peu confortable et peu esthétique ( dans notre chambre il y avait des bouteilles de vins vides qui n'ont pas été débarrassées dans un tiroir d'un mobilier ! L'intimité de la douche reste à désirer alors que cette chambre de 6 personnes! C'est vraiment perturbant !! La machine à café ne fonctionnait pas donc elle n'a pas été testé avant notre venue !
Le service d'entretien est vite intervenu pour changer le papier qui présentait des tâches de sang ainsi que sur le sol.

Si vous recherchez une expérience originale, je vous conseille cette hôtel qui est une ancienne prison. Les chambres etant d’anciennes cellules. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de clim

Fantastic quirky hotel. Loved tge room which was mych bigger than a prison cell! Great bathroom too.

Lieu atypique et parfaitement réinvesti. C'est conforme aux photos, magnifique et d'un très beau standing pour un prix raisonnable.
Le petit déjeuner manque cependant d'options et pourrait être mieux organisé dans sa présentation. Du jus d'orange serait un plus ainsi que une ou 2 solutions pour les personnes allergiques au lactose. Plus de pains différents par exemple, des compotes ou simplement un lait végétal, rien de très compliqué pour l'hôtel et un grand soulagement pour les clients dans cette situation.
Très bon séjour en dehors de ça. La vue depuis le restaurant est à couper le souffle. Je recommande vivement !

This Hotel is an experience, so cute, the breakfast is delicious and the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.
