All in all was a pleasure to stay. Free parking, comfy beds, aircon, views.
Pros:

User friendly, felt free to come and go as we pleased. Check in and out was so easy. Location was amazing. Bar downstairs and we didn’t hear much of anything at night. Walked along the mariner with sun setting was nice.

Cons:

The alarm went off for the entire building at one point, no instructions given as what to do in that event. The power point the tv was plugged into didn’t work so tried calling reception for help and always got answering machine. The cords were all secured behind a secure base so no way of checking points properly. Ended up changing the plug and it worked. This happened the first night and we never heard back from them about it as we left a message. Had pizza from the bar the first night and it was burnt. $28 for the pizza don’t match the presentation or taste.

Cheap for a reason. Would be so easy to fix it up, but with these ‘people-skills’, they don’t stand a chance!
Pros:

Affordable, plenty of beds in the room we were allocated. Water pressure in shower was good. Free underground & on street parking available.

Cons:

Air conditioner didn’t work properly & when I called reception to notify them they (“Mae” - apparent owner) lied and told me it was impossible that it wasn’t working as it was ‘new’…. Despite the AC being covered in dust and damaged (see photos attached). When I phoned to notify them of issue the woman HUNG UP ON ME!!! And then didn’t answer the phone when I tried to call again!
The next morning when I went to seek answers for the broken AC and the rudeness the night before, Mae don’t even stand up to speak with me when I went to the reception desk to check out. Instead she sat there doing Facebook or whatever on her mobile phone despite me asking for her to come and speak with me about the situation.
In addition to the AC not working, the room was dated and unclean (the floors felt gritty and dirty)m under foot) and the bathroom shower walls grimy too.
