All good, little or no complaints generally. Highly recommend for overnight stays enroute.
Pros:

Great location with exceptionally comfortable bed & excellent lighting. Great walk along beachfront to unwind and check out history.

Cons:

Driveway needs attention, lots of potholes. Little or no noise from highway exception being train traffic.

Quiet despite nearness of Bruce Highway. Close to the famous Cardwell Bakery and to the ocean front promenade

lack of natural light in the room, no option to let in fresh air and a very tiny bathroom shelf Not keen on a rain shower which delivered tepid water

A Great Overnight Stopover
Pros:

Recently renovated motel rooms attached to the Pub. Very clean and very comfy. Great hot shower and comfy bed.
Bonus was the free drinks voucher for the pub but the meal was only just OK. Reasonably priced and off the main road made it a good stopover in a quiet little town on the Qld coast. Would stay there again.
