Reasonable hotel for short airport stay

Close to airport

Cons:

Although close to airport it’s not easy. Hotel shuttle charges sweetly and a taxi is even more due to ridiculous airport charges!

Best Airport Hotel
Pros:

Check in was a breeze, super friendly and efficient. Extra shout out to Mahida, she handled check-in and the valet parking with ease while there was heaps of people waiting to check in. The room is pretty small but very functional and the shower is surprisingly large. The hamburger in the restaurant was great and they have excellent beers on tap. This is the best airport hotel that I have stayed in by far.

Great Location, great value stay
Pros:

The Moxy is a very funky, functional chain of hotels. I have stayed in several of their hotels around the world. All have an industrial vibe, excellent staff, and clean and comfortable rooms. For this stay we even booked with valet parking. Much appreciated when parking is at a premium near the airport. Will stay again when we need a hotel in this location.

Cons:

Maybe slightly hotter coffee from the breakfast bar. But that is being picky.

Pros:

The socialising and games around dinner and drinks was great, great atmosphere!

Cons:

Even though you can’t hear the planes on the airport side of the hotel, there is noise from the freight trains. (that’s from a light sleeper)
