OK. but nothing special.
Pros:

Good food in the Cafe. Room was tidy and nice shower. Mattress a bit firm for us.

Cons:

Very few car parking spots on the property...was directed to the alternate car park which is quite some distance across largely unlit waste land...which was the cause of me rolling my ankle!! For remainder of stay parked in the general car park opposite.

Unfortunate , will not be rushing to return
Pros:

The breakfast (full breakfast) was not very good, I think if I'd selected something else I would have been happier - we had a table of 6, meals all arrived different times despite ordering at same time, a mix up or two with drinks ; very awkward . one moment was a little disappointing in terms of service however there were some service moments that were very lovely (one step backwards two steps forward) . The pricing of the breakfast was a very reasonable price,

the location was perfect for the event the family attended
access & parking - excellent especially if travelling with the elderly who are not mobile or flexible

there were some good moments however unfortunately many not so good , and the not so good outweighed the nice ones

Cons:

I booked two rooms and one room had an odd smell the onboarding was not joyous at all unfortunately the not nice staff interactions resulted in an overall poor experience for me and my family and friends in attendance ; we will not be rushing back , no wanting to return

EXCEEDED expectations.
Pros:

Breakfast was wonderful- seriously delicious!! The facilities were incredible, staff were beyond friendly, patient and accommodating.

I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the location.

Cons:

The sink in our bathroom was slightly clogged so water wasn't going down the drain. But a very minor issue.

For future reference, some sort of window ventilation for the rooms with a kitchenette would be ideal as the smell of food and the smoke lingers for days on end otherwise.

Disappointed with Parking 🤨
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable.
Property is close to train station.
Restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

Cons:

Parking! Parking! Parking!
The property does not have enough car parking on site. So you are directed to an “external” car park. The walk back is through a very poorly lit, dust bowl of a car park. I did not feel safe!
I also noticed that the room was advertised as 52m^2. The room was nowhere near that size.

My favourite to stop over where the staff greet you in a friendly manner and make you feel at home
