We had a lovely stay at the Junee Hotel.
Pros:

N/A to the breakfast but we did have dinner and it was good.

Cons:

Central heating was tad to high as we had to open window to get some air so that we could sleep. I also would liked to suggest another bedside table and some hooks to put the bath towels on to dry out if staying more than one night.

OK for an overnight stay
Pros:

Staff were great, location great, comfy beds & the room was nice & warm.

Cons:

The room had basic furnishings, a mirror in the rooms would be good so woman can do their makeup & hair, instead of tying up the shared bathrooms. Hooks on the back of the door or a row of hooks on the wall would be handy so people can hang clothes, wet towels etc. The shower closest to our room wasn't able to be used, so had to use one further away, so ideally this should be fixed.

Pros:

Comfy bed, bright fresh room, friendly staff, good meal, welcoming log fire in the bar, lovely 1880s architecture. Right by the railway station, so great for train enthusiasts.

Cons:

The frayed carpet on the stairs needs replacing, and it will be grand when the balcony can be opened again. But hey - the new owners are doing a terrific job at renovation, and "Rome wasn't built in a day".

Pros:

Staff friendly, hotel with character, hotel food was good, shower hot and strong, bed comfortable.

Cons:

Hotel needs a lot of TLC. Balcony closed for repairs, most bathrooms closed for repairs (not many staying so not an issue). Milk in fridge for coffee/tea was over a week out of date and bins overflowing.

I absolutely loved the heritage feel. Beautiful warm rooms that made you feel at home, the shared facilities were exceptionally clean, overall was the best decision to stay at the Junee Hotel!
