Set in the expat/foreign embassies area and the property feels like a quality sanctuary on the lake. Decked with beautiful flowers the check in staff were helpful and meticulous. Quickly changed my bed from two doubles to a king. The welcome drink was a nice touch.

The hotel is only about a year old and the facilities are amazing. The rooftop infinity pool is heated and has great views over Hanoi. The hotel is also near some excellent restaurants. I'd thoroughly recommend it as a quiet get away from the bustle of the old quarter.

Excellent service, beautiful property and quiet and peaceful, which is not easy to find in Hanoi. It is a 2 dollar cab ride from Old Quarter and absolutely a great place to stay!

Heaven on the Lake
Pros:

The staff were attentive to my every need. The rooms were modern and clean. The bathrooms were out of this word and utilized new TOTO washlets. But the stars of the show were the delicious breakfast buffet organized by a very capable and kind manager Ly and the heated infinity pool on the rooftop. I walked the entire west lakefront and 88 Elegant Mansion is located on the most quiet and picturesque section of the lake. Just a wonderful hotel and I would highly recommend this boutique hotel for anyone desiring a quiet relaxing getaway for two.

Beautiful, spacious hotel with stylish interior. Such helpful staff. We were only there for a night before flying home but managed to easily walk to local sites and was close to restaurants and cafes.

Gorgeous hotel with great staff. Greed in management and no handicap rooms meant an upgrade for first 5 nights. I am sure I was the only guest in hotel. Lady phoned and told me we would have to move to 3 rd floor for our last night. Once again nobody in hotel. I paid extra money to keep existing room because not easy to change rooms. My wife returned to hotel and agreed it was difficult to move me. They gave no choice pay extra or move rooms. If hotel was busy it would be ok to move but once again hotel was totally empty

The room I got was the suite with a king bed and four nice soft pillows. Decent view 180 of the neighborhood. The rain shower was awesome with great pressure. My Room was awesome all around amenities!!! The gym did needed a Smith machine. I highly recommend this place even though it's far from the French quarters.

Exceptionally kind staff, amazing buffet breakfast, new gorgeous well designed boutique hotel. 15 minutes Away from busy old quarter by taxi. Some local dining options, Habibi a favourite. Nice spa. A real gem!
