Local peaceful, comfortable environment
Pros:

Excellent location, local quite environment. Polite, kind staff. Very clean.They provide cheap and quick high quality laundry! I was staying here 2 times and already have booked my third time of staying here when I come back again to Ho Chi Minh❤️

Do not book this hotel.

I arrived very late after a 12 hour bus ride. Noticed a couple of bugs on the floor at that the bathroom had rubbish on the floor and was grimy, but it was so late that I just wrapped myself in my jacket and went to sleep.

Had a tour the next day, didn’t get back until 10.30pm. This time - found the place crawling with bugs, and all over my bed! It was so horrific I packed my things and immediately went downstairs and translated to the girl at the desk.

I said I was leaving and please could I be refunded (I had booked two nights, so this was night 2). She didn’t even apologise or acknowledge the issue (or seem surprised) but just gave me a key to another room. I said absolutely not.

She refused to refund me and I had to just leave to go to my new hotel because it was 11pm.

I sent footage and images to Expedia who were extremely unhelpful, just kept asking over an over if I wanted to ask the hotel for a refund (uh - yes?) - they then didn’t refund me saying it’s the hotels discretion.

I also got a message from the hotel after I followed up with them before writing this review in which they refused to accept blame AGAIN and said that I left before they were able to ‘sanitise’ the room - which was infested with bugs - at 11pm. So my fault then!

Unbelievable. Terrible experience.

Peaceful local environment
Pros:

I liked the local environment, great location, clean hotel. I was feeling myself safe and peaceful there. The staff was very helpful and friendly there. Quite a budget place.

Pros:

The rooms were comfortable enough for the price and our concierge and staff were super friendly. It's relatively close to the airport too.

Cons:

The bed was a tad hard, the blanket too thin and small, the AC temperature was too cold despite adjustments and the shower takes a long while to get hot.

The location os best for accessibility for local foods and market

Cons:

There are nude pictures on the wall and one room smells like smoke. We had a family trip and didn't expect the hotel with such images.

Friendly and hospitable staff but the room was too wet(
Pros:

Nice and quiet location, a lot of cafes and mini marts. We spent 3 nights there (out of 7) and asked for refund (and got it, thank you so so much) because we had found our permanent apartment.

Cons:

Humidity (our towels didn’t dry well) , a little bit dirty room we had.
