The pool was fantastic for midday relaxing when it was too hot. They had a restaurant, tailor and spa in-house.
The air conditioning in our room broke, they moved us to another room which was inadequate, they moved us again. The interiors were nice but a little older.
Very nice hotel and room were super clean and comfy
Great hotel, very nice building, rooms were big, the pool is nice. It's walkable to good food and sight seeing
Nothing
The pool was the best part. Due to the heat of the summer we spent hours at the pool. Comfortable chairs and always shade it you need it.
We had no WiFi and our phones could not detect the signal. When i asked she told me that I was not using the phone properly. They would also only give us one room key per room, so our AC/charging would not work u less we left our key at the hotel and then wait for them to let us into our room when we got back. DO NOT use their tailor on site if you want women’s clothes. They make you pay in full up front and then argue with you about what you like and don’t like. I was in tears during the fitting because I paid $100 for a dress I will never wear.
Beautiful hotel and balcony for taking pictures :)
Annam Heritage Hotel, Hoi An
I spend a lot of time researching hotels before I book, and on paper Annam Heritage looked like an excellent choice.
The reality is that it's not a bad hotel at all, but it feels like a property with potential that isn't being managed to the standard it deserves.
Let's start with the positives. The location is excellent, within easy reach of Hoi An's attractions while still feeling slightly removed from the busiest tourist areas. The hotel itself is attractive, the pool area is pleasant, housekeeping was generally good throughout our stay, and the reception staff were consistently helpful and friendly.
The rooms, however, are smaller than they appear in the photographs. Storage space is limited, there is very little wardrobe space for two people, and the only mirror is in the bathroom. The balconies are tiny and while all rooms overlook the pool, that isn't necessarily the advantage it sounds.
The pool quickly becomes the focal point for families and children, resulting in a soundtrack of excited screaming for much of the day. If you're hoping to sit quietly on your balcony with a coffee and a book, you may find yourself unexpectedly attending an unofficial children's pool party.
One thing that was noticeably missing was any continuity of porter service. Assistance with luggage seemed inconsistent and the arrival experience lacked the smooth professionalism you'd expect from a hotel positioning itself in this market.
The biggest issue throughout our stay was the heat in the public areas.
The foyer, restaurant and communal spaces were consistently uncomfortable. The dining room at breakfast was particularly challenging. The numerous fans simply moved warm air around the room. Breakfast itself was passable, but lingering over a second coffee wasn't particularly appealing when you felt as though you were slowly being poached.
The reception area also feels like a missed opportunity.

Great location. Beautiful hotel. Very nice staff.
Staff were wonderful
AC was fairly weak
Lovely rooms, and the breakfast was very good compared to others we have had on our journey. The pool was great and a beautiful temperature. Reception staff went over and above to help with anything we needed like booking rides and recommending places to see.
Can't think of anything, maybe that the lift is quite cozy for 4 people, but that's nothing that can be changed.
We loved our stay here so much! The best part of our trip! The staff was super kind and accommodating - when our flight was moved early they offered to pack us breakfast to go. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and the location is great
